Nice cheap hostel, the only thing that could be better was the bed, it was uncomfortable!

A great location. Good kitchen. Only 1 really good staff member! The red hair girl was brilliant! Thanks heaps. Overall a good place to stay thats easy to get to and very well located!

What I didn't like about this hostel is that we have our room in a basement and it was really cold in there though it was may. We have to check out the latest at 11, which is really early. When we wanted to check in, we have to wait for about half an hour (till 15 p.m. and check in was supposed to start at 14.30) because of shift change. Last but not least, hotel staff (reception) turned on music very loudly at about 9.30 p.m, so we felt in our room like in a disco, and weren't able to relax.

It would have been perfect if the room was at least a little soundproof. It's normal to have fun at night in those hostels but I barely slept because of the yelling, even in a private room !

Not awesome, but OK. Showers could be newer and cleaner. Also reception girl forgot, that I asked her about next night booking and didnt told next shifter.

Bathroom was not so clean,... but otherwise, it was ok.

A really nice stay in the heart of the city. However, only one electrical outlet for a room with 8 beds is not the most convenient when everyone has phones to charge overnight!

Nice enough place. Everything is quite old, common areas consists of a few smashed and dirty couches. Staff look bored as hell, sitting at the counter all day doing nothing. Beds were clean and the room was big enough. I guess everything was OK but the hostel is overall a bit sad.

And wifi doesn´t work, it even blocked my laptop...

Directions on website are from Narodni trida; this metro station has been closed since July 2012. Why no updated directions from another metro station? Cost was more than expected due to taxes and fees. Not hostel's fault, but misleading price quote and problem when checking in. Staff was less than friendly. Dirty bathrooms and no toilet paper or soap in any of the WC. VERY smelly rooms and rude guests moving my bed while I slept.

It is quite popular and the location is in the city center. If u want to travel around, you don't need to take subway or bus, foot is ok. There is a big kitchen. Service is also good! If i go to Prague again, Chili Hostel will be my first choice.

I check about 10 hostel in Prague before & find that Chili hostel is the best between them in Prices, location in top center & near the river & 100 meter form the hostel very nice eiland in the river,also the reception & entrance saal & kitchen & dining room are open on each other & have capacity for more than 50 persons together & this make comfortable atomsper,so we spend social cosy time their with hulp staff & give this hostel score 10 from 10, the cleaning is daily & the security for missi

They had some of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever had the displeasure of sleeping on. Just about everything they had in the hostel (wifi, coffee machine, lockers) was broken and place became freezing at night. About the only thing I did enjoy about the place was the location (a few minutes walk from about any interesting spot in the city) and the price. I wouldn't stay here again.

We were satisfied with the hostel quality, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, we enjoyed our stay there. The atmosphere was very friendly and nice.

for that money of 15 euros for 3 nights its totally good decision. on the other hand if you are expecting some better facilities and if you will not just oversleep in the hostel you should choose some other one.

I was in 10 bed mixed dorm and for that amount of money, rooms are more than ok. All of the people working in the Hostel were more than generous! Hope seeing you again some time

Conditions were relevant to the price. There were almost no cups/glasses in the kitchen (bring your own). There are still creaky beds and you may end up with your room in 4th or 5th floor... The only thing to complain about were other people - leaving mess and dirty dishes in the kitchen and arriving at the rooms in the middle of the night, making a lot of noise and in fact going on with partying.

The service is lousy, the kitchen only has 2 blunt knives, some windows do not close, do not respect the prices, when you charge fifteen CZK not listed on the website, but the worst is that STEAL by permission of the administration within the chambers, four people and I were robbed inside the room, I was the first to return and the door was locked. Here is the case number from the police: č. j. KRPA-47257-12/TČ-2013-001110 Prap. Tomáš Lukavský (Inspektor) Also charged me one night other no less.

The best staff I've ever met in a hostel! I unfortunately twisted my ankle and had to stay for a whole day on the couch in the living area waiting for insurance paperwork to get me on the next flight home. Meanwhile I couldn't walk, stand up or even go to the ladies room without help, and a very helpful employee of Chili carried me when necessary and gave every assistance necessary, even lending me the phone for long periods (sorry guys!) I'm extremely grateful for everything!
