If you came prague at 6.00 am it doesnt matter you have to wait till 2 pm there is no exception for them even if this situation ruined my one day and also it says 24 reception but at 1.00 reception can put a paper which is written ''Reception is closed '' and you cant buy anything as if its not like her duty and also she has right to yell at me cause i didnt see that paper. Totally mess it still makes me angry when im writing this review. No more Chiliiiii.

My room (4 beds) was OK, big plus for great lightproof curtains and free WiFi. Bathroom cleanliness was OK. Prices for a weekend stay was definitely too high and they want extra pay for leave youre luggage in baggage room last day. When you check-in you must leave 200 CZK deposit for a key.

we stayed in many hostels in europe on our journey and this was by far the worst. impersonal, unsanitary and not secure. the only redeeming quality was the location and free internet. i would highly suggest you seek alternate accomodations if you are planning a trip to prague - there are far better options for far better prices with staff that are happy to answer questions, make you feel welcome, and bathrooms that arent filthy.

Staff was so rude and aggressive. I just asked them a question about mistake of the price, but they suddenly became angry and denounced my poor English, which was so sad. The bed is like a instrument of torture. I love Prague but never want to stay there again even if it's for free. Never.

Our stay at the Chili Hostel was certainly worth the money because it was so cheap, but we did have a few mishaps along the way. There was only one clean bed in our room (when there should have been two) so we had to wait a while while the desk figured out the problem, and the shower turned pretty cold after a few minutes. But if you're looking for a good location and a good price, this is a fine hostel to choose.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights; we had paid for a private with shared bathroom but ended up having our own "very clean" bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful.also, Johnny the pub crawl guide was fantastic. Who definetly go back to Chili ;-)

We liked our room, very spacious, but the staff were incredibly rude, not helpful whatsoever and somewhat disinterested in us. It is hard to compare the service here to most other hostels we stayed in with polite, friendly and helpful members of staff and that put a dampner on our stay at chilli hostel.

staff is terrible. hostel is cheap and it was recommended to me by a good friend who stayed there a few years back and by my guidebook but it's not worth it. I booked for a smaller room and was put in a room with more people. long story short, the staff would not move me or refund me for the cheaper room. They were unhelpful and downright rude at some points. The atmosphere was akin to that of a frat house. there was only 1 shower for 20 people and the sink is in the same room but toilet is not

This was one the worst hostels i ever been in my life. - The Toilets were absolutely dirty. - Beds were extremely uncomfortable and almost destroyed. - The staff was very rude and unhelpful. I booked 20 bed for a group for 2 nights, we got some connection problems and i sent a email to cancel the 1st night but keep the 2nd. When i arrive i notice they just canceled everything and they use my credit card details to pay for the 1st night. - They try to get money from you in all ways possible

I arrived to check in for my hostel and was told that they were currently closed. I had to wait in the living room with all of my bags for over two hours while they sat behind the desk. When I finally got to check in they handed me gross, old, disgusting sheets that I had to put on my bed and pillow. There were also stains on the matress. This was hands down the most uncomfortable bed that I've ever slept in at a hostel. They were rude and not helpful, the hang out room was clean and nice though

The change of shift was a joke it completely shut down reception right when everyone is trying to check in cause you have to wait till 2. Its a shame cause staff are quite nice and helpful when you approach them. There is so much room for improvement even some simple music in the common room and the basement down stairs could be an amazing place to start a night if something was organised. Otherwise location is fairly good and rooms are good size and bathrooms where kept clean just no atmosphere

The staff and hostel manager demonstrated to me not only astonishing incompetence, but also a complete and utter lack of respect. They double booked our room and requested me to ask the group who was in our room to go to another. After waiting several hours for it to be corrected we went into our room only to find the beds not made and gum sticking to the floor. I asked the next day for a discount which was initally agreed upon, however I was later informed that the discount would not be given.

The staff had ZERO information as to where to go to find the basic things such as food (which there was an amazing place RIGHT across the street) or even a money exchange. Poor staff, good place.

Good price, even it's not near the main attractions you can arrive by walking 20 minutes, there were only two nice guys at the reception, the other two persons i get to talk to weren't too able to help, the mattresses were terrible, had too put it on the floor to sleep better, expensive the drinks that sells at the hostal, only two computers worked "well".

We didn`t enjoy staying in Chili Hostel, the kitchen was dirty. You only got bed linen but no bed sheets,. And the stuff cared about anything, even when some visitors did really disgusting things in their hostel. they were not interested in and we had manage it by ourselfs or rather tell the charwoman.... We would never ever stay there again
