No breakfast no wifi in room and lot of people at the reception to get wifi.
During our stay the nearest underground station was being completely repaired and probably will be for a while. There is a tram to help with this because it stops at the station of the same name as the underground so that is easy just a hassle to start with. Hostel is a 10-15 min walk from the tube/tram station with luggage. We had a private double but that was right next to the dorms so noisy and the shower kept falling off the wall. It was clean though and had computers and was social.
I stayed with my boyfriend at Chili Hostel for two nights in a 6 bed dorm. It was OK, maybe not so spacious but certainly OK if you have plans like us (spending long ours out and come to the hostel for sleep and have a shower).

This hostel was sociable and a good chance to meet people but it had very poor wifi (only works at the reception desk) this made the reception area very crowded and sweaty! Also, they are no lockers for backpacks! Only very small ones that do not fit much in and these are located downstairs! The bathrooms and bedrooms are quite dirty!
Avoid this place. Not every room comes with lockers. Staff are very unhelpful. Their response to us asking about the lack of lockers was "that's surprising". Bathrooms were pretty dirty too - I have staied in some rough places and not had a problem but the fact we paid good money for a rubbish hostel is really annoying. They also charged us for a 4 bed then put us in a 8 bed and refused to discount us. However great restaurants nearby - not that this justifys a stay here though.
This places i allright. The down side is that you get the felling that it an old place that they haven't looked after. For example, one of the bathrooms we shared had no lock and a shower room did´t have any light. But if you want to meet other people its a good place to start, just dock expect to much from it.
Very nice hostel in the city center but a bit difficult to find. Friendly staff and good facilities, also very good to meet people to hang out with and party in Prague.
Chili is the most unenjoyable hostel I have stayed at in Europe. However, if you like squeaky beds, unfriendly staff, dirty kitchens, no locks on bathrooms, no toilet paper, no soap, asbestos, loud people talking outside your window every night, Internet which is hardly available anywhere in he building and kicks you off it you try anything more strenuous then a google search, this is the place for you. Honestly though, this hostel was miserable. Avoid it like the plague.
Terrible hostel.... It's infested of bed bugs and the kitchen it's a mess. Dont go here !!!!!
Very weird vibe in the reception area and many many many stairs with no lift
Didn't like this hostel so much. It's cheap and has a great location but that's it. Staff is not so friendly and unhelpfull, kitchen is a horror place where everything is dirty and sticky. Rooms are fine, but not very clean as well. In our bathroom the toilet was broken twice and took a long time to fix. Electricity went off once and wasn't able to fix by the staff. Would not recommend..
A little bit run down but also cheap so it kind of balances it out. Decent area in the new town. Showers are horrible. Only 3 lockers per room. And hope you get a room on level 1 or 2. My first 3 nights were on level 5 so had to climb 10 flights of stairs daily
The Inernet on their 3 machines that worked were painfully slow. Wireless was almost non existent. I asker for a connection to their Private Chili network I was told that Internet was "very Expensive " A young woman who's bags including ID who had booked to stay there was told she could not stay there with a cold indifference. It wasn't until she came back and begged that the man serving her agreed to find a solution. It is no way to treat paying guests let alone a volnerable young woman.
I booked a room for 6, only women... and arrived in a basement where there were 8 beds, totall empty the first night, full of guys the second night. There was no door but a curtain to separate the room from the rest of the basement, no windows, and pipes everywhere through the room ceiling. It was so wet in there that the beds were full of water and also some water was dropping inside the room. when i told the staff I wanted to change but they told me "it is full" and didn' want to pay me back.
Was a good place to stay for the extra 2 nights i needed in Prague. But i wouldn't recommend to any of my traveler friends. Good wifi but the beds where pretty dirty and there was no where to store your valuables.
2 showers and 1 toilet shared between three 6 bed dorms doesn't work too well.

A nicely, chic-designed hostel. Friendly and helpful staff. Free internet access is a good thing to have - it sometimes help a traveller a lot. We enjoyed peaceful and quiet night, since we were the only guests in our compartment. Everything is tidy and clean and a welcoming tea in the room was a nice greeting.

Only got wifi in the very small and cramped front doorway! The showers were pretty rubbish and dirty! The kitchen was really bad and not nice to cook in! Te staff were pretty rude. For the money it's okay, and the location is great! But apart from that it's not good!!!
Cleanliness was the low point and also wifi doesn't reach the rooms well, but I still had a good stay
