This hostel isn't a bad hostel and great social scene etc but the facilities aren't as good as others. You have to pay a deposit for your plate, cup and cutlery rather than a plentiful kitchen of utensils. The wifi is only available on the top floor or bottom floor which can be a nightmare because it gets busy on the bottom floor with everyone using wifi and space is limited and the top floor is where the party is at so always quite busy. The staff however are really great!

This hostel is as it name says. However the roof deck is great to meet people and the staff are A+. Carlo who works nights is really cool with the guest inquiries no matter how inane they are. Chill is great if you want to be near the roma street train station as well.

Hostel was ok, I stayed in a 8 bed female dorm and the room was far too small and only had one power point which isn't the most convenient! The communal area was nice and the kitchen clean. The female bathroom was a bit dirty and the seat missing from one of the toilets. You have to pay for wifi and it doesn't work all over the hostel which is really frustrating

Was really good hostel, we only had to stay there one night as we had to fly out of Brisbane airport and it was close to the station.

Unfortunately, the hostel was below our expectations. We had no window in the room (it seemed most rooms on our floor had now window as doors were left open during the night to at least anticipate some kind of 'fresh' air). The floor was disgusting - no fresh air was able to come in. Luckily, we only stayed one night (otherwise we might have suffocated). The 'female only' bathroom was dirty. Very noisy also. I don't think the 'no alcohol in rooms' policy was enforced which didn't help noise.

Staff has been unhelpful and impolite. Wifi didn't work but if it did then super slow. One room card key didn't work as well. Air con super loud and no possibility to turn it off. Mattresses uncomfortable. Kitchen and room were quite clean. Amenities old and in poor condition. Wouldn't recommend to stay.

overall it's good hostel. Location is perfect. Staff is very friendly and helpful. In the 21st century they should get wifi. The one they offer costs 7$ per hour. so basically if you use few hours of wifi, you are paying the price of pretty nice hotel instead. Also I missed lockers, if you share a room with strangers, you usually need one. You can leave your things at reception, but it's inconvinient to do several times a day. however it's still safe.

No lockers in the rooms, that's why the security in my opinion is poor. WiFi isn't free. Location is nearby the railway station.

The reception staff were abit rude at most times and $10 dollars for a towel is quite a silly ask but other than that was a prime spot to stay for soundwave over the weekend I was there!

Great place, I've stayed there a few times now. They just had a room mix up on the last night I stayed. They booked someone in my room with my bag still in it. Me and my bag were separated until the next morning. Hopefully this doesnt happen again, because its otherwise a nice place to stay.

No lockers in room, bit cramped for space and weird smell in halls, pillows and mattress need to be changed, but good location and staff were so friendly and helpful that I would have no problem staying here again!

Ok. Rooms and bathrooms were clean (if a little small), girls bathrooms even had hair dryers, and beds were comfy. One of the better ones on this strip but has nothing on the YHA. Kitchen was a bit gross and you have to pay a deposit for pretty much everything - even cutlery.

One of the nicest hostels I ever stayed at. The location itself is really good (just a short stroll from the transit centre) and it's easy to get into the city and around by foot ;) I really loved the open terraces - they were really nice :) - it's a place where you can easily feed comfortable. Unfortunately there was no cutlery in the kitchen..

A little out of the way of the main city and south bank but not too bad. Coles opposite. Nice communal areas. Girls bathrooms were alright and had hairdriers. Air con was nice during the day but at night it got positively cold, but blankets available from reception
