Hostel was good and very clean, and stafff were very helpful. Especially when the washing machine ate my money!! Would recommend and good location as close to the transit centre. Only problem is the plastic pillows but to be honest you can live and they are just noisy not uncomfy,

When you check in you have to do your own bed... The staff is a pain in the ass if you try to drink after 1am in your room.

Good place to stay, liked it there and would come back. It was quiet and chilled. Near supermarket and cinemas and not too far from the city centre.

Great hostel, super cool vibe, and a great place to hang out (the patio was my favourite). My only two negatives are the pillows (they are seriously made out of plastic, wtf?) and the $10 deposit for crockery. The 2nd can be somewhat forgiven as I'm guessing many people pass through with camper vans and decide to "liberate" some, but still, somewhat annoying.

A nice hostel located close to the downtown and a short walk to the Transit Center. Staff are super friendly and got me checked in and up to my room quickly. The hostel is very clean and there are always people around cleaning the halls and bathrooms. There is a nice outdoor terrace with great views of the city, perfect for a relaxing afternoon or to grab a drink and meet a few people in the evening. I met so many great people in my time here and highly recommend this hostel!

Pros: the hostel was clean and in a good location. Cons: the beds are terribly uncomfortable and the pillows covered in plastic, some rooms only have glass block windows and I don't know how that passes fire code (I did NOT feel safe in room 101), the Internet connection was very slow for the amount of money paid for it. Overall, I would not stay again, although the hostel was ok.

The room was a little bit small and without windows. The kitchen was dirty because of some people didn't care about it. it's good the idea to give the grocery behind a deposit, but the kitchen was dirty anyway.

Nice place, its close to Coles(which is just across the road). Despite the hostel pumping with people, it was pretty quiet at night which was good. Everythign was clean and the guys were friendly upon check in/out ..

i was just there for 1 day, i was upgraded from a 12 to a 3 bed dorm, which was really small, it was difficult to get in because of the 3 suitcases on the floor.The pillow was covered with PVC so it was not comfy at all, and the air con in the night was so strong i had to sleep with my clothes on! positive:really big terrace and kitchen, nice movie room with plenty of movies everyday.No keys to get in the building also in the night though,so i think not 100%safe(night staff was not always there)

A nice hostel in a good location, worth a stay. Very cheap beer at happy hour 3$ when we were there. The cinema and climbing wall are nice touches. The bad side was that the room was smelly and the wifi was really slow for what we payed.

I had my 21st Birthday Party at the backpackers. Great atmosphere and facilities! Just want to say thanks to all the staff for being so helpful and accommodating :) I will definately stay again, next time im heading out in Brisbane. Thanks for making my birthday stress free!!

Loved the terasse on the top floor, it was a shame that is was raining most of the time so we couldn't enjoy it fully!! Friendly staff, and clean toilets and showers but the rooms was very small and the plastic pillow was not that comfortable. Overall it was good!!

Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms dont have lockers which is a shame and there isnt much room to put your stuff apart from the floor. 24hour reception and computer room which is good. Shame about the foam mattress and very annoying plastic pillows! Very clean hostel, lots of cleaning staff going around all day and evening. Not the greatest place for meeting people due to the size of the hostel but still a nice place to stay if you do manage to meet someone.

The hostel is fairly close to all the sights in the city (15-20min walk), The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions. The room was clean, there was a large communal kitchen and lots of fridge space. They played lots of movies through out the day and have great views from the out door decks. i would stay there again, also the bathrooms had hair driers in them which was nice.

This is not a great hostel, and smells really awful on all the floors. The bathrooms are clean and the staff efficient.

The staff definitely could have been friendlier. They weren't outright rude, but they were kind of cold and snappy.

a bit pricey. but the roof top made up for it. good location.

securyty was good! and I felt safe to stey here...for women is good!!!
