Definitely a comfortable place to sleep, and it's right by the train station, which is convienient if you're taking the XPT in the morning.

We really liked this hostel. It was clean, there was free parking, the staff was fabulous, and the outdoor patio and movie theaters were awesome. The only bummer was that they have a lot of extra frills charges (such as Internet, towel purchase, etc.) so it ended up not being the greatest value, all things considered. Alo, the pillows were not comfortable at all, but those were really our only complaints.

Great hostel!!! Next to the station, not far from the center and very clean. I have been here twice, rooms are big and nice, and the girls bathroom has hair dryers!!! Good atmosphere, nice staff and I loved the two terraces with a beautiful view over Brisbane!

One of the best hostels I've ever been! Everything is very clean, the staff is very helpful and nice. The reception is open 24/7, which is very convenient. They have a big kitchen, with a terrace plus another rooftop terrace! Very nice in summer :) Will stay there again if I come back to Brisbane!

It was in an excellent location, really close to the train station and city centre. Facilities were average, you had to pay a $10 deposit if you wanted to use cutlery or crockery which I think is a little bit silly. It seems they skirted around the edges a bit when it came to cleaning ; the showers were full of hair! However the rooftop terrace made up for the other downfalls, it was really good with a views over the river!

The hostel was new clean, tidy, never waited for the shower or the toliet but it lacked atmosphere. You pay for wifi even though the signal is poor and although I had no problems it could have been more secure as people can walk into the living areas/corridors from the street.

More of a hotel-feel to the hostel but nevertheless, the staff are friendly and helpful. It's really easy to meet people and chat. Loved that they provided you with a bit of free internet time on their computers, but I would've preferred the option of using wireless internet.

I have paid less at other hostels and been given a lot more, the room had no tv the bathroom was tiny to say the least. No event or entertainment for new yrs eve was pathetic and the fact that we were expected to bring our own towels when it was not said on the site or that we had to bring down our own sheets ect on checkout was a joke I will NOT be returning

this is by far the best hostel i have stayed in, in australia. even though it is quite small compared to other hostels that doesnt stop it from being such a friendly and sociable place to meet other backpackers and get good friends. the place was always clean and tiny, and the staff at reception you couldnt ask for better ones, there just like all the rest of us and always make sure they help us and get us involved in any activitys that are going on.

Pretty good value for money, though I wasn't impressed with the plastic cover on the pillows and the very small room in which there were four bunks...

Great movie nights and great rooftop view. Could do with in room lockers for 4 bed dorms though, but that's their only fault.

Only complaint would be the uncontrollable air conditioning in the room. I got sick, as the air conditioning was in 20 degrees all night and there were no proper blankets provided in the room for that temperature.

Design of the hostel was good and the views from the terrace were amazing! However, did not feel comfortable sharing bathrooms with the guys. Each floor should have male and female bathrooms seperately!

I didn't especially enjoy our stay at Chill. We had 4 beds in a 10 bed dorm with 6 long termers. The room was by no means big enough for 10 people and there was no storage or lockers in the room only a couple of plastic shelves. The cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen also left a bit to desired. The kitchen is quite small and not really big enough for the number of people staying at the hostel. The balcony is nice and the location very handy. Also plenty of partying going on if you want.

Great hostel, good location, really clean and lovely staff. Never any queues to check in or out unlike other hostels and there was plenty going on.

kitchen is a bit dirty, and there's not many places to hang out actually. It's not like the photo you see on this site. And the electronic key didn't work, so it was inconvenient.
