Chill House is the best hostel in Buenos Aires. The staff - Antoine in particular - makes sure that your stay is top-notch. He even called a cab, carried my bags out for me, wished me a safe trip with a hug goodbye. The hostel is social, and has awesome amenities.
Chill House was my home away from home. The hostel has a relaxed vibe, hence the name, perfect for a curious and open traveller who doesn't require daily activities or cut clear entertainment. The owners and staff can always recommend you the cool place beyond tourist hotspots and the two bikes that are open for borrowing are a plus (solely for touring, the bikes do not have locks). The neighbourhood is centrally located with San Telmo and Palermo a city strawl of 15-30 minutes away.

Great location, close to a subway station. I only think that the hostel could have activities in the place or provide services, such as recommend the free walking tours among other interesting activities that you can do in the city. If you're looking for "social" activities, it's not the best hostel to be at.
Very Nice Hostel, big supermarket close by. Nice Terrasse to chill with other guests, good vibed, helpful staff, kitchen was little bit small and fridge as well.
Was a great location, staff was for the most part helpful. Didn't go above and beyond like a lot of hostels to create a sense of atmosphere and community among the people staying there or to help recommend places to stay/go/try within the neighborhood and city. But, if you need a place to crash that is conveniently located, this is a great option! Wonderful rooftop, too :)
owners are very nice. it's a good place for people who expect a chill environment but not exactly for people who travel alone as people there usually travel in a group. if you expects parties or something exciting , the chill house might not be the perfect choice. But it's a chill, cozy place to stay after all.
Great hostel with a great vibe. Friendly staff who are always on hand to offer advice or recommendations. Careful when it's raining though because most of the common areas are open to the elements.
Very pleasant hostel. Nice roof terrace to spend the end of the afternoon and have diner with fresh new friends. Make your own orange juice for breakfast and listen to the very talented staff Roberto playing his guitar out of the rush hours! Antoine is also the most adorable host I have ever seen in a hostel.
A really nice, vibrant, and not too large place to stay. The building and the rooms are nice with high ceilings, but the most wonderful thing of Chill House is the staff that really makes you feel at home, help you when necessary, and give you nice insider tips. A good place to head to after a long flight to BA. Beds in the 4p dorm (there are only 2 of such) are comfy.
Fantastic hostel with a really calm, chilled out vibe. Antoine, the owner, is a fantastic host and was ready to help out with anything we needed. The other staff are very good too. Good breakfast with fresh oranges and a juicer to make oj. Really nice roof terrace and lovely inner courtyard. It's a bit out of the city centre but is close to some really good bits. Also very close to a supermarket and metro. Go to la bomba de tiempo (very close by) if you are there on a Monday night!
Great hostel and amazing group of staff. Location is perfect as its somewhat in the middle of recoleta, san telmo, and parlemo. Breakfast was a little disappointing, as it was very basic, but there a many cafes in the 2-3block area to get a bite. Very near to the cathedral where you should go one night for cheappp wine and amazing tango.
It was great , good people , good service

I really loved this hostel! I've traveled all over the world and have stayed in many hostels. This one is on my list of favorites. I initially ran into an issue with my dorm room being overbooked, but they put me in a different room with less people and just let me stay there all 6 nights even though it cost more money and they did not charge me more. I was initially concerned about location, but enjoyed it because it felt more "local" in a neighborhood. The atmosphere is excellent as well!!!
Very Nice and welcoming place in Barrio Norte, the most interesting parts of BA, Palermo and San Telmo are a little bit far away, but a supermarket with cheap and good food and a Mall are just around the corner. People were Nice, and restaurant recommendations good.
Great atmosphere and very friendly service - but you shouldn't rent out the room next to the reception. From 8:30 onwards we constantly had voices outside our door and could hear everytime someone entered or left the hostel. From 10:00 onwards there was music outside our door.. Not made for people who want to/need to sleep.

Lovely hostel! I enjoyed my stay there so much! It definitely has a cool vibe, artsy decoration, and great facilities. It's not a party hostel, but rather relaxed and layed-back place. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. I also liked the location of the hostel, a bit outside of the busy Microcentro and therefore more relaxed and authentic, there is everything you need closeby. Sights and other quarters of Buenos Aires easily accessible by metro or bus. I hope to return soon!
Nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff were really informative, friendly and accommodating. One day they invited all the guests to lunch with them on the roof. The building itself is beautiful and very well kept. A great place to stay, especially if your are after a chilled out environment. And the rooftop terrace is great and gets heaps of sun!
