Stayed in 6- and 4-bed dorm for a total of 4 nights. Great old house with nice feel to it. Extremely friendly staff. Good common areas. Was pretty quiet (was there in low-season). Would definitely stay here again.

Pretty sweet hostel. Owners are lovely and look after you very well - so helpful! Breakfast basic but there is a fruit and vegetable shop on the corner with cheap eggs! Loved the fresh orange juice!

The building is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the whole hostel is spotless. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful with anything you wish to know about the city. The only downside is the location, which is quite far from the main areas of Buenos Aires. But if you want downtime, this place lives up to it's name.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thanks for your kind comment! About the location, for me it is perfect, because we are in the middle of everything! 10 minutes from the center with the subway B (1 Block) 20 minutes walking from Palermo o Recoleta...So you can choose the area you want to be for the day easily! Regards!!

If you are looking for a beautiful chilled out place to stay while you are exploring Buenos Aires, this hostel is the best decision you could make. The location makes it pretty easy to visit all of the main attractions of the city. The rooms are really spacious with big lockers for your stuff and the roof terrace is awesome. One of the best places I've stayed in South America so far!

Beautiful building with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, a real haven in BA! Just a few things: - When there was a storm, it was impossible to move around the hostel without getting wet (particularly to get to the ground floor bathroom!) I know this is a feature of the open-air set-up, but it was annoying. - The metal stairs feel quite unstable! - I managed to lock myself into the top floor bathroom - it may be worth checking the locks!

Beautiful hostel set in an old building. Very chilled out which is what we needed after a week in Milhouse! Clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Only downside would be breakfast - you are only given small rolls with spreads. It would be a little bit better if you had the choice of some cereal too. All in all great place to stay :-)

I had a lovely stay at the chill house hostel. The owner Esteban was incredibly kind and upgraded my room from a dormitory to a private room which was available. The staff were super helpful and friendly and spoke excellent english. I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice in the mornings.Plus the roof terrace was lovely for enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine.I felt taken care of here which isn't always the case in hostels. The atmosphere was very relaxed and would highly recommend!.

Wonderful staff who are super helpful. Not the closest hostel to the major sites, but if you are willing to walk its a great place to stay.

A small, relaxed and sociable hostel. The dorm room was very spacious with big lockers for belongings. Wifi was excellent. The staff were really helpful. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a real treat but could of done with more choice than bread rolls.

Good Hostel by Argentine standards. Spacious dorm, I did not even sleep in a bunk. Good for a few days stay.

Awesome place where I spent my last few nights in South America! Great crowd, clean, nice breakfast fresh juice, nice rooftop, subway close and Palermo 20 mins walk away.

Nice Hostel. It did seem a bit empty. The location was in a safe area near a subway station between Soho and Recoleta.

More of a hostel for couples. There are only two dorms therefore it is not the best place to meet other travelers. Besides of that nothing to complain about.

Great place to stay in BA. Very "chill" atmosphere as the name says. Rooftop terrace can't be beat on a hot, summer night. Staff were all very helpful and nice.
