This was our second time at Chillhouse. We stayed there a year ago and went back this time with a bigger group. Still very nice, clean and relaxed.

Great rooms, bathrooms, common area, roof terrace and location - GREAT PLACE! Don't stay here if you're after a party hostel, but if you want a nice stay, friendly staff, good breakfast and a brilliant roof terrace, this is the place for you.

We had a fabulous experience at this hostel. It was charming, the proprietor incredibly helpful, referred us to the most amazing Tango show in Buenos Aires! The roof top was the perfect place to chill after a long day of touring the city and there was no better place to enjoy breakfast and catch up on the lives of my son and daughter. We loved it there!!

Our first stop of our south America adventure. Staff were exceptionally friendly, they gave us great advise on food, shops and things to do! The room was clean and spacious, lots of character. The location was good not far from a metro line, close to pubs and restaurants. The only downside was the kitchen is a little small. They even kept our bags while we went to Uruguay for 2 days!

Great stay. Friendly hostel with great atmosphere. Althought is a little far from the touristic places, it has a subway station only two blocks away.

Hands down the best hostel I've stayed at. The building is gorgeous and the staff, particularly the owners are wonderful -and go out of their way to help you. I loved it here and would stay here again, even if I could afford a nice hotel.

This hostel was SO excellent I don't even know where to start. The hostel itself is a really cool building with a relaxed dining room and even more relaxed rooftop lounge area. It is a really comfortable place to be in, which has a lot to do with the staff. The team there is and amazing group to be around, as far as helping with questions, or just hanging out. I was lucky enough to go their NYE party. I highly recommend this hostel, it is by far the best I've ever stayed at.

great owners, they introduce you to other people staying at the hostel so your never really alone or without activity ideas. i think i got some spider bites during my first night but that was quickly resolved and my friends did not have the same issue as me so I suppose i was just the unlucky one of the lot.

Fantastic hostel. Well run by a small group of staff who will take every opportunity to help you with any of your needs/questions and they recommend the best things to do around the city. 3 excellent communal areas including a roof terrace with occasional BBQs, great place to meet people and make friends. Perfect if you´re starting your South America trip in Buenos Aires.

I didn´t mind the hostel being a bit far away from the center. The bus connections are excellent, but you always have to keep any coin you get to use busses. The hostel´s roof-terrace is dreamlike!
