This place is unique in beauty, in the midst of the hills and rainforest, with a fresh mountain river and waterfalls in the backyard, lovely cabins and a charming common area. It was a very romantic stay for us and the off-season price was great for what we got. Even though they are remote (and offer great space to relax), we liked the free transportation to town several times a day and the proximity to the waterfalls. There were technical problems, but very helpful and engaged staff!
The hostel is lost in the Jungle, the advangtages are calm and tranquility the disavantages are then you that you're tottaly depending on the hostel transfert. (taxi is 50-60r) The transfert is announced 3 times a day but means there's one at 8am one at 12 and one back at 6.30pm. In the best case your day is gonna end up pretty early. No much service at the hotel so forget dinner if you're planiing to eat after 6pm. One of the staff was very rude, some other very kind I Will not recommend it !

The hotel itself is nice enough but the location is a real issue if you do not have a car and want to explore the area. They offer a very limited number of transfers and are not at all flexible about these so we had to pay for expensive cabs (you have to pay double for their return to town). The staff were well meaning but ineffective in helping with onwards travel queries etc. The chef was very nice and food excellent.
