Great location on the beach front and nice and close to the historic centre. Breakfast was great on the beach, staff were friendly and helpful when it came to giving advice. Beds were a bit uncomfortable. Even so, I would recomend staying here!

Nice hostel, great location and breakfast (served right on the beach, providing a nice view).

Great location and excellent bar and breakfast location on the beach. The atmosphere of the bar was much better than the actual hostel. Big shout out to Leo who was the best staff member (and really the only helpful one) by far. Should have more than one toilet available outside of the rooms especially when it's full. Overall good stay.

Great location for the beach and the rest of town, nice and friendly staff, the only downside is the rickety Triple bunk beds and plastic mattresses, with no ladder or barrier which presents some difficulties.

Fantastic hostel, great location, great facilities and very friendly staff, would highly reccomend

Overall the hostel was nice,a couple of areas could be improved e.g.Kitchen supplies, update on the bathroom, bigger lockers.Location was great,3 mins from the historical centre,10 mins to the bus station and beach on the doorstep! Breakfast brilliant, a good selection and eating on the beach is a plus. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Leo who recommended lots of fun tours for us to do during the day, and took extra time in helping us book our bus tickets to our next destination.

Great location right on the beach. Dorm rooms could do with a spruce up but perfectly fine for location and price. Breakfast on the beach is a bonus and great kitchen area.

Recommended to us by friends, Chill Inn Hostel did not disappoint. We stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm. Rooms were cleaned daily, good AC and a high powered fan. Bathrooms were also clean and of a good size. Breakfast was amazing, served on the beach, with loads of fresh fruit to choose from. This hostel was very sociable with a good communal area and beach bar. Special thanks to Leo who helped us out massively and was very knowledgable on the local area and beyond! Overall we highly recommend!

Perfect location (beach is 20 meters away), everything else you need is within a short walking distance. The breakfast here is without a doubt the best I`ve experienced -- multitude of fruits, freshly baked cake++- they got it all - served in the Geko Bar @ the beach! Staff speak good english and have been extremely helpful. This is my third stay at Chill Inn, and I hope to return again in the future. Honorable mentions: Leo, Sabrina, Pablo, Franco & the breakfast team! TY I love you all! :)

I love Chill Inn hostel! the vibe is awesome, the price is good and the staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Leo, and his gigs at Geko Bar were great!:) the breakfast on the beach was the best breakfast ive had in Brazil so far, so many fruits. Definitely worth a visit:)

Leo was awesome! He helped us with everything in Paraty and the rest of our time in Brazil and Argentina, so helpful and not just that, he can sing like a rockstar. He made our time in Paraty the best!

very nice hostel, in front the beach, excellent breakfast, good location (not in the center, so quiet place), nice staff, everything was wonderful !

Hostel was totally fine - the 6 bed mixed dorm room was REALLY small, but the AC worked great and the beds were moderately comfortable. The common area didn't have a whole lot of space to chill in, but the staff was SUPER nice and helpful and overall it was a really nice experience. Leo and Carla were the best - they helped us so much and were also great to hang out with.

Good value for money: good, clean rooms en nice breakfast on the beach.

Lockers in the doorm was broken, only 2 fully working for 6 people? Only toilets in the rooms, which is not much when many people are staying. Location is good, jusst on the beach which is awsome for breakfast, however the seawater in this are is so hot that its not very nice to swim in. The (delicious)breakfast buffet was empty at 9 am(breakfast till 10) so we didnt really eat 1 day as well, why I can't rate value for money higher. The place needs some couches and stuff to make it cousy.

We stayed in a 9 bed dorm and it was a little crowded but such is the nature of a 9 bed dorm. People aren't kidding when they say the wifi is bad. It is bad, often infuriatingly so. However the position right on the beach and proximity to the old town is excellent and we had such a relaxing stay we extended it (moving to a 6 bed dorm!)

The hostel is nice and we really liked the beach bar. But the dorms with 3 stock bunkbeds are bad. We slept on the top ome. It was dangerous to get in and out og bed because the fan was directly at the top of the ladder. The bed didn't have a security thingy in case you move a lot in your sleep. The cleanliness was in all nice but the pillows and matresses were dirty and we were happy that we had our sleepingbags to sleep in.

This is a very nice hostel if you want to realax and meet other people. The hostel is right next to the beach, and it is also many other nice beaches not far away. The breakfast is good and it is nice that you eat it at the beachbar. It takes 10 minutes to walk into the old town and it is very nice with all you need. I really recommend this hostel! The straff was really helpfull and nice too.

Very nice hostel! I loved that is was almost on the beach and that the breakfast was served ON the beach. They have their own bar on the beach so you eat a beautiful breakfast with fresh fruits, toast and fresh cakes with sand between your toes and the waves that slowly wake you up. The rooms was clean and the kitchen area was cozy. It was a good atmosphere and its many other hostels on the same street. Very safe to walk alone I felt. No internet, but you could find it at the hostel next door.

I loved how breakfast was served on the beach, and how the chill inn and geko seemed to be just one hostel, with no difference as to where you hung out. Except the fact that the wifi was non-exsiting at the chill inn and actually functioned at the geko. Some staff members spoke english fine and were able to help, whereas others did not speak english very well. It is a fine hostel, delicious breakfast!, nothing special, but nice for beach times.
