It's a bit hard to find as there's no sign on the door or wall outside the hostel and the kitchn utensils were limited but the staff were very friendly, it felt very safe, excellent location and fantastic value for money! Would definitely stay again and recommend to other travellers.

Great hostel, amazing staff! Super convenient, right next to a supermarket and one block away from the beach. Staffs are very friendly and speak good English. Tatiana and Pald are nice enough to take a few guests and I to a local pub and a local club afterwards. I really enjoyed my stay!

Great Staff, Great Location. Beds are a bit squishy but the rest was quite good.

The staff and location make this an unbeatable option in Copacabana. Seriously, how can you beat being like two blocks from the beach. The only issue is that the beds are like something out of a prison, very uncomfortable, and the rooms are stuffed with so many beds that if someone is doing something in the room, no one else will fit.

I recommend this hostel. The location is perfect, two blocks from Copacabana beach, Breakfast is good, staff really helpful, thanks girls for aswering all my questions! The ladies working during the breakfast are kind. I really apriciated the free caipirinha. Thanks for the hospitality.

A really good hostel all round. lovely staff who speak great English. Good breakfast, good beds, good security, good location with supermarket, bank, post office and travel agent all on the same street. Would come again!

The location is perfect. The beds are quite noisy. There should be a microwave oven. But, all in all, the stay was perfect but I just regret the guy that did the check-in was ot as polite as I would have expected (maybe more patient and offering the opportunity to pay all the money at the time of the chek-in or not denying me a cup of juice to take my morning medicine (I tood tap water). I gave him the feedbak I saw this as disrespectful, expecting him to apologize, but he did not care at all.

Alright hostel with all the necessities! Lacked good atmosphere and cooler vibe maybe. But the staff is really good, price is competitive, and very very close to the copa beach! Especially liked the friendly and charming lady who does the breakfast!

I stayed at Chill for about a week and only positive remarks can be made. Its location is priviledged -it is in a quiet street just around the corner of Copacabana's main street, 3 blocks away from the beautiful beach. Dorms are comfortable and bathrooms clean. There is a cheerful environment, excellent to meet guests from all over the world and get a good night's sleep too. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face. I thank them all for a terrific stay in Río!

We loved it! It is a great hostel, super well located, clean and the staff is incredible! Natália, Ale, Matheus and Pedro are so helpful at any moment, friendly and kind, thanks guys you are the best! Julita is such a lovely person and she makes cake every morning for breakfast (by the way, the breakfast is really good) and Maria is also a star, cleaning and tidying the hostel every day. We totally recommend it!!!

The hostel is very well located , very clean, and the staff are super helpful . It is the second time I lodge in this hostel , and certainly 'll host me many times . It is undoubtedly the best option in Rio de Janeiro .

Really good location with a supermarket next door. They helped us organise loads of stuff during the day. Really good breakfast like a hotel. The matrices are made from some material that squeaks so the beds are insanely noisy but comfortable none the less. The bathroom floors were always sandy and dirty but this is because the host is so close to copacabana. Natalia is the nicest person you'll meet in a hostel as well

The staff was nice and accommodating, the location was great. Besides that, we were surprised how highly this place was rated. Upon heading up the narrow stairs we were impressed by the urine stench, which got stronger. The beds were coated in plastic, making them extremely noisy and uncomfortable. There are 3 beds per bunk, leaving all of them without enough room to begin to sit up. The bathrooms were always overflowing and gross. The breakfast was bread and watermelon. You can do better.

The best thing by far about this hostel is the staff! They are so friendly, welcoming&helpful! Good location, about 5 mins walk to the beach&the same to the nearest metro station. There are also regular buses that pass just outside! There is a nice social area with a TV and Netflix. Within the confines of the gated area, there is also an outdoor table&chairs! The beds are a little noisy but you soon get used to it and the air conditioning makes the rooms comfortable at night! Thanks Guys!

The hostel is perfect my only advice is out some hooks in the dorms to hang things and remove the plastic covers. They cause us to sweat every night and make so much noise.

It's a very good hostel, near the beaches of Copacabana. There is a great helpfull staff and a lot of city tours organized by the hostel. Perfect if you are travelling alone.
