I came for two nights and ended up staying for over a week. I wish all hostels were like this. The staff is excellent and friendly, the facilities were clean, and I felt very much at home.

There was lots of noise from the cars... The faciily in the kitchen was not very well. The bed was awful, we have had back pain on the next day.

This is the very same bed one of my guests said that very week - if she could have the same bed she would stay another night, unfortunately we were booked out and it was not possible, I recall other guests (hostel owners in fact) said it was the best night sleep they'd had on their holiday. Regardless I have bought a new mattress, that I hope will satisfy a wider range of our guests, although I know this is not possible - because as people we all have different and unique needs. There are 3 kitchens in our backpackers, which makes it easy to find a kitchen ready to use when you need it. The cars, I'm not sure what this means, we have a car park used by our guests, they return from the penguin viewing as late as 11.30pm in summer??? Apart from not having a car park for guests, I'm not sure what one could do about this???
