Pleasant staff, quiet and charming place located 5 minutes walk from the metro and a convenience store in the neighborhood of embassies, so it can not be a safer place. I stayed only one night but it was a really nice stay !

Such a great stay, one of the best atmospheres at a hostel that we have been to. Free dinner what is with that?! Amazing! Thank you so much and making Santiago that little bit more awesome

The staff were incredibly helpful at this hostel and the free dinner was a great perk and was a really balanced tasty meal. Showers were hot, wifi was good, cafe in the hostel was great value for money and the rooms were clean. We were impressed.

Pleasant hostel in an old-style buidling, located in a quiet and safe area (next to the Italian embassy). Good combination of Chilean/European staff members that take you out on evenings. Free dinners on occasions, and tasty BBQ with wine and beer that fill your stomach at a very good value for money.

For its price, the hostel had a great location, good breakfast and nice people. It was somewhat dull though, the bathrooms were very unconfortable and they didnt even have hangers for your towels, etc. We stayed in dorms and while they were okay, everything is dark, could use more light. Very little common areas but there are lots of activities around for those who ask and can find a bunch of people to go with. Didn´t stay again after first visit, but for the money, you cant ask for more.

We stayed nearly two weeks and had a good experience. The facilities are good. The staff were 24/7, all friendly and helpful, and there were staff people from all over the world so many languages are spoken. There is a very good free dinner mon-thurs and the option to pay for an Asado on Friday. Right around the corner from he metro. It's definitely a party hostel, so it can be loud on weekends, but even though we're not partiers didnt ruin our experience.Definitely a good value for the price.

Stayed in an 8 bed room which was very spacious and had lockers big enough to fit your rucksack in. beds were a little uncomfortable and room got very hot at night as there is no fan or air con. brekfast was good and the free dinner in the evening was great, with a glass of wine even included. cafe/restaurant which is part of the hostel has some great lunch deals.

Soap in the bathrooms would've been nice, and maybe a key to access the hostel/room, therefore having a bit more security as well.

Very pleasant youth hostel, very good welcome and very nice staff, always ready to give advice or to help for the planning of the continuation of the trip. Not far from the city center. Very good value for money. I recommend it without hesitating.

Chilli Hostel is well positioned for doing everything in the city if your happy walking, catching the tube or the bus. It's nice and quiet if you want to chill out, but the guys know where the parties are at! The comfiest beds I've stayed in and the breakfast isn't bad either. Antoine is super helpful about tours and where to go. Would deffinately stay again

The hostel is great in general (free drink at night and plenty of people to meet!), but can be very loud if you intend to go to bed early. The hallways echo a lot.

Recommend this place for sure! Great value for money with breakfast and supper included and a few drinks thrown in here and there was a great bunch of people good atmosphere lots of fun on nights out and the asada was sooooo yummy. One of the girls showers broke which made it somewhat crowded to use the one shower once the hostel got a little busier toward the weekend but otherwise no complaints and I would stay there again!

I love Chilli Hostel! great location, staff (Jelle especially), the best value hostel in Santiago and free dinner every night of the week! I cant speak highly enough of the standard of service and the great atmosphere where the passionate owners regularly go on nights out and organise tours for guests. The best place to stay in Santiago!

Don't stay here if you want a decent nights sleep, this is a party hostel with a capital P. Breakfast was average, so was the cleanliness, otherwise not a bad stay.

It's a good place to stay, specially if you are on your own. Fernando, the owner, makes BBQ with free wine and beer, giving us a chance to meet people. And than take us to dance Fridays night. The location is good to, close to the metro and everything.
