The hostel is in a very good location for those who like bars and nightlife! The downside being that it is a bit noisy but really convenient. The cool and colorful decoration inside also makes you feel quite comfy!

nice, clean and good location... walking distance from everything.

this is really just a place to lay your head on a pillow. not a party hostel or even a social hostel where the hostel organizes events so people can get to know each other (i.e., dinner party, etc.).

Loved my stay:) met excellent people and one of the best stays until now:)

Unless you really can't find anywhere else to stay, I wouldn't recommend this place. The only good thing about it was the location. Rooms were dirty, showers were dirty, staff was irresponsible (left our passports on the reception desk and ran out of locks for the lockers). Beds seemed dangerously stacked and the overall atmosphere was strange.

Great location. Only used the place for sleeping since we were doing stuff most of the time, so I did not get deeper insights into the hostel-life here, but for sleeping it was perfect:) Had a very decent private with towels included.

The security was good: there was a code for the front door but no key for my dorm room which was left open all the time, but there were huge lockers, big enough for my backpack so it was okay. Location was great, within walking distance to shops bars and the main shopping street. Not really walking distance to the other side of the bridge but it's possible. A half an hour walk or a 6lira tram ride. Bathrooms were kept absolutely spotless and there was a fully stocked kitchen! Was great.

The atmosphere and staff at this hostel was top notch. Friendly and fun but professional. The location was great, right on the busiest street in the world! Rooms had a lot of people and towards the end of my stay had generated a funky smell. I would recommend this hostel over any other in Istanbul. Had great time here.

An overall good place to stay. Located just off the main shopping/nightlife street and very close to Taksim square, it was nice to stay in an area not as touristy as Sultahnamet, however you can easily catch the tram to all the main attractions. Hostel has fast wifi, great showers, a kitchen and filtered water. It's not a party hostel, but easy to meet people and go out if you want. A downside was we didn't have a sheet on our bed for the first few nights. Ask reception!

Chill Out Cengo is great, I spend there four days and it was perfect, people who works there are very friendly and helpful and the environment of the hostel is so good. The kitchen and the bathrooms works really well and in the common room you can talk with travellers easily. I reccomend it without doubts.

It's a really nice place, with confortable beds. The location is great, if you don't mind to stay out of the old town, since you'll be at a very lively place with thousands of renomated stores, bars and nightclubs. The problem are the stairs for those that aren't light travelers. Just to check-in you need to go up 2 floors and maybe one more to go to your room.
