Our room was dirty. There was butts and cockroaches!! really disgusting. But I have to say that the staff was good and they change us to another clean and beauty Hostel just 5 minutes walk from this one.

After living in Istanbul, I started visit hostels in my old city. I guess it was the highest happiness/money rate! I stayed in this hostel for a night but I had fun with 3 different hostel worker and everybody is funny who works at the hostel. I'm a person who lived in Istanbul for a long time and I can say that location is awesome. You can find everything around the hostel. Night life, food, alcohol and old city is not far away on foot. Next time I'm gonna stay at this hostel.

very ugly place. In 3 days never cleaned. Very expensive. The rooms depressing. The bathrooms horrible. It is the worst hostel I\'ve stayed. Sorry.

We had a fabulous stay at Chillout Hostel in Istanbul. Not only it is located right in the heart of Taksim, with lots of bars and nightlife around but the place itself is really charming. There is that homey/family environment where you can just sit down and relax at the lobby, maybe have a chat with the overnight security guard who is a wise 50yo rocker, play board games with other guests or just have a beer. Would definitely stay there again, one of the best atmospheres i have ever found.
