It's more like a relaxed, laid back house than a hostel, with a really nice owner and usually pretty cool travelers hanging around. Lockers are small and there's only one shower and toilet for 12 people (if there are 12 people staying), but I haven't had a problem with that yet myself.

Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful when it comes to showing you around town or pointing out cool places to see on a map. The hostel was always clean and had a very homey feeling to it, not at all like your average hostel. Highly recommend.

While the hostel was not well-marked and hard to find, the staff, especially the caretaker/cleaner, was so helpful. He had a sauna booked for me within an hour and even offered to escort me there and back in the evening so that I would be safe. As a woman travelling alone, and for someone with limited time in Kiev, I really appreciated the help.

This hostel has great atmosphere. Everyone is very social and it feels more like a house than a hostel, which is great. The staff are friendly and are enjoy going out with you. Great location where all the action is in downtown Kiev. About a 20min walk from the main station where the airport bus will drop you. Nice cheap restaurant just around the corner to. I would definitely stay here again!

There is only one sink for 12 people. It is not such a big problem. The people who run the hostel are very nice and helpful and give special character to the whole thing.

It was off season with only a few people staying there so atmosphere I suppose understandably was rather subdued. Owner was away but her friend who substituted for her was extremely helpful and very friendly.

The staff is really friendly, attentive, joyful, happy to give insiders' advice and flexible - They understand that people come for holidays and make everything possible for you to enjoy the nice city of Kyiv, even if it is sometimes hard to go out while the hostel atmosphere is pleasant too. We even stayed in touch, as I actually live nearby.

Very cosy place, the staff is hospitable and really funny, so I don´t have any complaints, actually the proof is that it was my third time at that place, and I think that´s more than a recommendation! I am going to visit them again... .

Went to go to Cheynobl for a long weekend and to go to Kiev. Booked through the hostel, however they didnt pass on our booking so didnt get to go. I am not sure whos fault it was. However the girls worked really hard to get us onto something else. Despite the disapointment the hostel is in a good location and is very secure. they organise and try and help everybody and despite the set back had a fun weekend and enjoyed our stay.

Very personal character. It was more like a shared flat than a hostel!

This small hostel is exactly what you think a hostel should be like. Full of character and characters, the staff is über helpful and accommodating as well as knowledgeable and fun. Several evenings, the staff took us out and showed us a great time. Just make sure to bring flip flops for the shower!

Much more of a "traditional" hostel, hardly seemed like business at all. Hostel was in a good location.. about a 20 minute walk to Independence Square, and about 8-10 minutes to the nearest subway. The rooms were a good size, air conditioned, and the beds were actually pretty comfortable. Kitchen was very small though and there was only one toilet and shower. Personal lockers were very small too.. just large enough to place some personal values and a purse, but no suitcase or backpacks.

Loved this hostel! Joanna and Litka (the girls who were in charge), were both friendly, easy going and very helpful! They organised mini hostel excursions to the beach and out to some pubs. The dorms were spacious, good cooking facilities, good location. If I return to Kyiv, i will definitely stay there again :)
