Very clean. Professional staff. Helpful staff. Just would help with some new paint on ceilings and walls especially on bathroom.

Very nice hostel. Staff always available and very helpful and friendly. Roms are big and colorful. All facilities are available. Very secure. Close to metro station. Close to istiklal street and many pubs and restaurant. Would highly recommend for someone on a budget.

I know it is a hostel, but could do with a bit of a face lift, even a coat of paint would help. Other than that a very good place to stay.

I stayed here twice during my trip to Turkey. The easiest way to get to the hostel from Taksim (if you arrive by airplane and take the Havatas bus to Taksim that is) is taking metro 1 stop from Taksim to Sishane. There are 3 exits to my knowledge. Do NOT take the Istiklal Caddesi exit, take either of the other ones and you will be 30 seconds walk from the hostel. The hostel location is central, there are lots of options for food, drinks, entertainment in the area around Istiklal Caddesi.

Pros: the staff are friendly. The hostel is located 1 block from the metro and 2 blocks from Taksim, making it convenient to walk to. The sheets on the beds were clean, lots of hot water, and WiFi. Cons: feels like a run-down hotel. Rooms are heavily worn, mismatched furniture and painful color combinations. Bathrooms not cleaned daily and smelled of mildew. Badly-stained carpet. Staff smoke in the building. No lobby, just a small sitting area, impossible to meet others who were staying there.

the hostel looked better in video .. it's a bit used now. sometimes you have to take care to get a toilette paper ... but anyway the staff is friendly and helpful as they can and the location is great (30m to the Şişhane Metro Stop, and 250m to the galata tower)

The staff is very nice. The rooms are clean and ok. I defenitely would return to this place, if I would come back to Istanbul. The lokation is perfect!

i advice all the tourists to come this hostel, the location is fantastic , clean, secure and the manager is very understanding and polite,

Everything was fine. The fact that it was noisy area is not a problem as you are supposed to select this area not exactly for a relaxation trip. For us was funny that the double room was so tiny :-P But i guess there are people that are going to complain about it. So is better to know that from the beginning :-) We are really satisfied

Chillout Pera is a great choice! Location is right next to Taxim walkway and near the Galata tower. The rooms are clean and the showers are hot. It's very different from many other hostels I've been in as the staff create a really good atmosphere and they made me feel welcome. The wi-fi is excellent and I was very warm at night - even cooked a delicious meal in the big kitchen, felt right at home. When I come back to Istanbul, I will most certainly stay here again! :D

It's very centric and the staff is amazing. They were very helpful everytime we needed something. I highly recommend this hostel

By all means, we had a very pleasant stay at Chillout Pera hostel. Yasmine, the hostelkeeper was very helpful with all the questions and she was also very nice. The private double bed room we stayed in was very clean and had a nice big window and warm blankets.The bathrooms/showers were clean as they were cleaned everyday and the cooking facilities were great with the big kitchen. We met some really nice people too. There was a grocery store nearby, and the Pera area was so lovely! I recommend!

greate place and very friendly people

The location is perfect! just 2 stairs away from Istiklal Street, just few meters from the metro and close to the ferry's. The rooms are clean and I loved my stay at Chillout Pera! The beds sleep very well and the staff is very friendly and helpfull!

Yasemin made me feel like home! It was a amazing hostel with a amazing host!
