Chimbas excels in cleanliness, number of bathrooms, quiet space, huge kitchen; it's a charming home turned into hostel and the space is comfortable. The major downside is the customer service. The owners are cold and did not express any interest in knowing their guests. Because of their cold energy, I felt uncomfortable asking for help or advise for exploring the area.

stayed 2 nights in double room. Our private bathroom smelled a bit like gas and we had some trouble with the water supply for the shower. Apart from that we liked our stay. There is a big kitchen and a great garden with a clean swimming pool. The hostel is close to the bus terminal but a bit out of the centre.

Beautiful and clean hostel, especially the garden! with lovely swimmingpool and asado! Close (walking distance) to the bus station and the hostel had a bus ticket available to use to get to downtown. Big kitchen and computers with internet and WiFi available. Friendly and helpfull staff, excursions available.

Staff were nice but often difficult to find, we often had to wait a long time in the sun waiting for someone to open the gate for us. The mosquitos were very bad as our room had no flyscreen and the staff couldn't offer us bug spray. The house and pool are nice and the kitchen is great. Room and shower were very clean.

Very nice atmosphere with big kitchen and a nice big table. This gives you a nice home feeling. The swimming pool is not big but very nice to cool off after a hot day of cycling to see the winery's. The location is close to the terminal but a bit far from the centre (30 min walk)

16mts travelling and this was one of the best hostels we've stayed in. Well looked after place with huge kitchen, nice swimming pool, very clean throughout and helpful staff. The country was in the middle of a heatwave so our fan room was still a bit stuffy and the wifi was very patchy when we were there but the computers were always connected. A little out of town but the walk in was fine and we preferred having a short walk from the bus station with our bags.
