We were kind of disappointed with a hostel in Córdoba before enjoying Mendoza, so Chimbas Hostel was, mostly, above we were expecting. It's clean, quiet, and pretty nice. But the staff is the strongest point here. Claudio and Leandro were amazingly outstanding in all our needs during the stay. They're awesome, and made our stay a really nice experience. Nice place, but sort of out of the way (20 minute walk to the center of town). The 4 bed dorm is a bit funky with the bathroom on a different floor. The lower bunk bed is so close to the top bunk you have to be careful getting out of bed so you don't hit your head. We had a brilliant stay at this hostel - staff are really friendly and helpful. This is the best hostel I have stayed in all trip, and I wish I could have stayed here longer than just one night. Claudio, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. He organized all of our tours and recommended really good restaurants. We loved the beautiful courtyard which is really a relaxing place. Was absolutely great! Had such a good time. The horse riding organised in the area was so beautiful. Great advice from the staff and so helpful in all respects.
