Had a great time staying here! Cozy hutong with adorable cats (love Xiao Bao!). A few minutes walk from the subway and just 2 bus stops from the main Xidan shopping district. Both Da Dong and Xiao Ma are extremely friendly and meticulous. The room I had is also clean and nicely decorated. Two thumbs up! (",)Had a great time staying here! There are four lovely cats in Chinese Box Courtyard. I played with them everyday. The decoration is excellent, full of traditional Chinese style. Joe is just like your friend, very helpful. They gave me many dumplings made by themselves when I arrived at the first night, make me feel warm. So, it is good!There are four lovely cats in Chinese Box Courtyard. I played with them everyday. They really know what's like to be travelling and make one feel at home. The staff are extremly helpful, friendly and very well prepared for all kind of issues. Great hostel, one of the best i have been to. Very helpful staff and would definately recommend for people to stay here. One negative is that is was pretty cold at night but you cant have everything right??!! Great hostel, one of the best i have been to. I enjoyed my short stay in the Boxhostel a lot! It is very cozy and nice! We absolutely loved staying here. It was super easy to locate, Mark and Dadong are wonderfully kind hosts, the rooms are clean, and the hostel is in excellent condition. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a more intimate and laid-back setting. It's nice and quiet at night and small enough to meet all the folks staying there! Family Dinner night is awesome, too! Home-cooked meal and great company!! Thanks so much for a great stay, Chinese Box Family! We miss you!!!We absolutely loved staying here.
