It would be almost perfect with a shower and toilet in the 1st floor close to the bedrooms (we have always to come down, even for a short pee or wash our hands).

The hotel rate is reasonable and the service provided is just fantastic and excellent......would recommend this hotel to anybody who would wish to visit Kyoto......

I stayed here in 2006, and again this trip in 2013. When I come back to Kyoto, I would like to return here again.

This place is simply amazing! Very traditional feel. Owner is lively will help Out with anything you need. She speak very good English. Accessible by train, Very close to shopping and heaps of resturants. Made our stay in Kyoto very enjoyable. 5 stars!!

I enjoyed my stay here. My room was very cozy and the building was easy to find from Kyoto station. I would definitely recommend it to people staying in Kyoto.
