Lovely place. If you like the comfort of chatting with someone while coming in and out of your room then this is definitely it. Staff was very helpful and warming to talk with. If you want quiet private stay.. then get another hotel. Otherwise it's like a friendly guest house with the comfort feeling when you return from a long day touring.Lovely place. I guess when you stay in this style of accommodation which is typical Japanese ones has to realize the walls are paper thin . The guy in the next room snored all night ..have come home for a rest ????I guess when you stay in this style of accommodation which is typical Japanese ones has to realize the walls are paper thin . The staff is so nice. The location is good. Just 7-10mins walk from the central kyoto station. The security should be good, but we have to leave the key at the front desk when we have to go out and every one can take the key. It seem unsafe. but nothing happen on me. It's a old traditional japanese housing. I enjoyed it so MUCH. Strong recommend ! The staff is so nice. The location is good. Just 7-10mins walk from the central kyoto station. Good location right in the main drag of Kyoto- easy to find, the bathroom situation leaves a little to be desired, and the rooms are Japanese style (didn't bug me, but could others). The problem is only 1 shower for 10 multiple rooms.

Very near from Kyoto Station (JR, Bus station, Metro).
Staff is very friendly and they try to help you on every thing you need.
The rooms are very nice (Japanese style) and clean.
Probably the best hostel i've been ever.Very near from Kyoto Station (JR, Bus station, Metro).
