Hostel Chocolate is perfectly located in Bogota's oldtown, just a couple of minutes from Plaza Bolivar, Museo del Oro and other places of interest. Most of the guests are international backpackers, who can enjoy the two yards inside the hostel. Adriana and her stuff are doing their best to make the stay as cosy as possible. In winter time the nights in Bogota are cold. The hostel is not equipped with heaters; blankets help a little, and the electric showers provide hot water - more or less.

We were actually moved to Hostal Colonial La Quinta where a double room was available (very nice & same price) Hostal chocolate looked very nice, the staff were great & even helped us book our onward bus tickets when we dropped by later in the week despite us not staying with them. HAve heard positive things from other travellers who have stayed here.
