Wasn't to impressed At all, not the best value for money. Shower had no pressure, rooms were very tired. The check in is unavailable from 1 till 5pm, this was understood at the time of booking. It states to notify your time of arrival, which we did on the hostelworld booking. We Arrive at 2.30 and The manager didnt show up till 5.30, no apology at all. Wouldn't stay there again or recommend.

Hotel is located in the center of the city, within old part of the city. Staff was really really good! The owner was too helpful.Recommended places to visit. Hotel was clean enough! Just there was less light in rooms.

Best value for money I could find in Bordeaux, considering there is no Youth Hostel. The hotel is clean, quiet and well located. Only drawbacks are that the Wi-Fi works only in the front room which is closed alot of the time and that the shower is all the way on the fourth floor (I was staying on the ground floor). NOTE: Do not follow the signs to this Hotel, the signs are wrong!! try and get a map before you arrive as the instructions online are inadequate.

The owner of the property Erik could not have done more for us! He was outstanding! We really loved how close this hotel was to the main Bordeaux area. The only thing would be that there was no Internet access in the room unless of paid extra, but it was totally fine sitting at the tables in the reception area. Again, we enjoyed our stay! Thanks Erik!

What I expected. Place to sleep and store your things. The staff were never at the desk and it was hard to find someone to talk to or even check out. It is a good place but

there should be a common room or maybe wifi access in the rooms or maybe more than one shower

The owner was friendly and made his guests feel most welcome. He provided lots of useful local information on amenities, restaurants, places to visit. The visit would be perfect if there was wifi available in the rooms and a microwave provided for everyone's use. A good experience and I would go back.

Short stay in Bordeaux. The hotel is in the heart of the city. The staff is very friendly, they speak good English, Spanish,... Good atmosphere, quiet street, close to amenities. TV in each room. Very clean overall. Curiously having to wait till 5pm for checking in, but it was clear before booking online, the same applies to the shower. I would book it again. Highly recommend it!!! Good value for money!!!

There was a sink but no toilet/shower in the room (a bit inconvenient, but I was only there 2 nights). It was a nice stay & the cleaning lady in the afternoon was very nice. I never actually checked in to my room since the guy was gone when I arrived at noon, & the desk was closed when I left in the morning (between 6a and 7:30a) & also when I came back at night (9p). If you're looking for a no-frills hotel, this is a good one. Don't be alarmed by lack of facilitiies; it's just good to know.

Very simple hotel, nothing fancy. Not the best place for meeting people, but good if you need a bed for a couple of nights. Only one shared shower, on the top floor.

It was a nice stay. We sure could use a shared kitchen. Some strange smells would come out in the WC sometimes.

Staff was very friendly and helpful even though we didn´t know any French. Very cute place in a good location. Not much more we could have asked for!

Simple but clean and central - perfect for a short stay. Staff friendly. When you call, no problem with the check-in, they figure something out so that you can get in and leave your baggage there and do the check-in later.

A typical hotel for a \"serial killer\" :) Rather spartan, but when you\'re alone you don\'t care. (Missed a movie-style crucifixion over the bed :) ) Bathroom is on 4th floor, so if u live on 1st - guess what troubles you. The best that beats everything is its location - the VERY CENTER and near the tram station. So just use it as a bed for a night not as a party penthouse.

I thought that it was unfair that you did not advertise that you would be closed from 1-5pm. I arrived at 1:20pm and then had to wait with my stuff for almost four hours to get let in. If you are going to have a lock out it should be advertised on the web site so that people are prepared.

The hostel reminded me of a hotel Quentin Tarentino would use for a movie set in the late 80's to early 90's. Had flurries of modernity dispersed throughout a prop set from that of "The Shining". All being said, the location made it easy to drop various items of merchandise off throughout the day, and still be able to hit the streets, so to speak. An ensuite in the room that does not contain a toilet always makes one think, "All drains go to the same place eventually". Will power must prevail.
