Wifi was only at the reception, which was always closed, it was opened only 2 hours per a day, so i had to sit pn the stairs to catch wifi. Staff was always watching what I am doing and making some comments all the time, so i felt as i was superwised all the time and couldn't relax at all, it eneded with thoughts that i don't want to go to the hotel anymore, even to sleep. An the most worse thing-there was a very old and derty shower, i was even afraid to touch something. It was wors hotel ever!

Choisel is ok. The staff are friendly and the room was fine (single room w shared bathroom). Breakfast not included but there are great nearby bakeries. Reception area is the common area that people use the wifi but it's otherwise not especially social. Shared bathroom is pretty basic (seems like the bathroom was an after-thought to the building) and is on 4th floor (one shower shared by all in hostel!) Wifi only available in the reception, which is very annoying as this is closed from 1-5pm.

Hard to find anything hostel like in Bordeaux - they're all hotels and hence no atmosphere and character - I didn't meet a single person there the time I was there. It was nice to have a room to myself (even if the toilet was down the hall) but I would have traded it for some sort of interaction with fellow travelers.

Great location and value for the money. Staff was nice and helpful. Office hours are limited though so call ahead to let them know when you are arriving.

Not that clean. I didn't find a dustbin until we left the room and found a small one in the bathroom. The facility was a little old and atmosphere was so so.

Turned up late and as promised it was easy to get in, key waiting in room. The host was very helpful and spoke good English, looked after my bags after check out while I went sightseeing and there was free wifi. Altogether an OK place to put your head down in between busy days out and about - Recommend just walking round town (very clean and pretty) a trip out to St Emilion (lovely) and the all you cxan eat Entecotte steak restaurant near Opera (Yum!) .. :)

For a hotel of this price it is very good although remember that the shower and bathroom is shared. I only used it because I couldn't find a hostel on hostelworld but when I searched the Internet I found one. The Reception is not open from 12 -5pm which is a bit of a problem, make sure to call them if you are going to arrive the hours they are closed because they can sort something out for you.

Really clean and friendly, only 5 minutes walk from everything you need, plus you can hire bikes just up the road to make it easier to get around. Not so great if you;re wanting to socialise as there's no common area but for a hotel it was a great and simple place to stay.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The day I arrived, the reception staff was not currently at the hostel. When I called the posted number to call, he said that he would be there to let me in and give me my room key within 15 minutes.

Hostel is clean and the manager talks very good English and Spanish. It is located near the important places of Bordeaux. The only problem would be the inexistance of a lift so you have to go up 4 floors with all the bags with no help.
