The staff was helpful and friendly, the kitchen and breakfast were fine, internet was great. I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay and will go back when I fly out of Rome in a couple of weeks. Staff was friendly. Internet worked. Location was great for walking to the coliseum. Easy walk from the train station. Not in an endearing part of town but not bad either. Fairly clean. Only real problem was that the water from the shower would leave big puddles on the bathroom floor so some bath mats would help.

generally pretty cool, i was travelling alone and met some cool people there, though the common room wasnt much. reception is there but they charge you for internet if you use there computers and not the wifi, which isnt a huge deterrent but is a little annoying. fairly quiet and relaxed and deently clean, a bit of a hike to the sites but easily reachable by metro as there is a station pretty much next to the hostel.

my opinion is about a room in the "segret garden"

the hostel is in 2nd floor, the is an elevator but is locked and you have to go for the stairs... that's the only bad thing... The bed was really comfortable, the staff amazing and the breakfast was good

The rooms were full of mosquitoes and I woke up with a ton of bites all over my arms. Also there's no big lounge area where all the people can hang out together and meet each other, so that made it kind of difficult to meet people.

I really like this hostel! The staff is AWESOME and are incredibly helpful. The hostel isn't very big, but the atmosphere was great and the kitchen and breakfast were also great. I would definitely stay there again!

Really enjoyed my stay there. Nice rooms, clean bathrooms, friendly staff. The only little drawback was the location but I will still return there if I am ever in Rome again

I stayed with my wife in private 2-3 beds room in Brixi street, i.e. approx 200-300 m from the main residency of Ciak Hostel. Despite snap of this room looks better on web , we were satisfied. Room on the 1st floor has own toilet and shower inside. A covered terrace with tables is on the roof. There use to being breakfast and you can cook there too, despite the conditions for it are relatively poor. Generally, it worths for money. Better than a hotel for me.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations here! This place is clean, friendly, and our private room felt just like a hotel, except we weren\'t paying the high costs! They have a free breakfast and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. It is a little bit of a walk from all the main sites, but we would definitely consider staying here again the next time we are in Rome!

Good location and although staff were friendly there were a number of issues including no hot water and water short circuiting the electricity due to rain water getting into electrics on the roof terrace.. this was quite dangerous.

Ciak Hostel is definitely a great place to stay. The staff was very kind and helpful and their free breakfast was very good. It is a short walk from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, so taking the metro in is unnecessary, though Ciak is only a 3-minute walk from the metro if you want to get to the train station or to the Vatican. Very clean and friendly. A good hostel.

Multilingual personnel (some of them don't speak italian but so what?)! The hostel is cozy, nice, clean, good people, mostly young students from different countries. The personnel was so kind as to have us leave our luggage in the hostel for a day after we checked out, and called us a cab for free.

This a very charming and adorable hostel! There were two British sisters working when I went for one night. They had chocolate for you and a candle burning. Free, fast internet, tv with dvds, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location is a bit far from Termini compared to other hostels that are closer, but it's still only a 10 minute walk.

Great hostel; nice, central location about 10 minutes' walk from Termini station. Free pasta on Fridays & Saturdays was a good way to meet new people. Staff were all really friendly and basically it's everything a hostel should be.
