The lady cleans the room every morning. Not a full kitchen. Location is good.. very close to the subway and in a quiet safe area. Easy to get to all the spots by bus or subway. Wi-fi is working well.

The staff were really great - very friendly, helpful. Cleanlness of the room was perfect. It is a quiet place, not much social life, but that was what I was looking for. The only negative is the kitchen - very very basic, I would welcome a microwave. Ii is on a terrace, in the open air, which is perfect in summer, but not ideal at the beginning of April. On the whole I was really happy there, thanks! Hana

It was what I expected when I booked the hostel. The staff were very friendly and gave us some insider tips for sightseeing. It was a great place to stay.

I really liked this hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the breakfast was pretty good for a hostel. Also, it's within walking distance from the train station and the Colosseum.

Nice, rather quiet hostel, sympatic staff. They didn't have enough kies for the rooms for everybody and this was quite surprising. Also you have to bring your own lock to the locker. But generally I recommend.

Room was clean, but breakfst area filthy. Place mats, napkin stands, jars and such were stained, greasy. We told the staff, but nothing happened.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Secret Garden for 2 weeks in April. We liked our room #6 and the hostess said it was their best. There was a spacious bedroom with a big bed, a little fridge, a TV set (we didn't use it) on a table, one chair, 2 bedside tables with lamps. The bathroom was very big: there was a shower cabin, but jacuzzi smelted very bad then we tried to turn it on, so we just use it as a shower cabin. We were outside most of the time, so didn't try free breakfast or pasta. SG is OK!

I really recommend this hostel. The only downside was that it was somewhat uncomfortable mattress. They make your bed every day!!! Breakfast is very good and the staff is very friendly and fun. Excellent location.

Ciak Hostel is in a pretty good location, very close to the Manzoni subway stop, and of course around the corner from the best Gelato place. The faculty were very helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of good recommendations. It would be nice if the hostel organized nights to take us out. We were there for 3 days and we went out once with a few hostel people and it was a lot of fun.

The infamous pickpocket of Rome ruined the very last day of the trip taking away my passport, money and other valuable stuffs. I was at a loss and returned to the hostel to ask for help. The staff(I suppose her name is Antoinette) was really helpful and she helped me locate the embassy. When I returned the hostel with the new passport, she's gone so I couldn't tell her how thankful I was. THANKS to you I could return home safely.
