For this price and location it was a good place. Do not expect the Hilton but the staff is very friendly, the beds are comfortable, the water is hot so if U are only crashing in the hostel room for a shower and sleep, it is the place for you!

Great room (we had the ensuite private). Nice breakfast. Also a great location! 20 minutes walk from the Colosseum.

The staffs there were very very nice! And given free pasta which is quite delicious, we had a chance to talk with other travellers which is quite fun. Though there is a water leakage in room 4, be careful of it, just dont put the luggage on floor. But it is really great to stay in. :))

Great for what I needed in Rome, a clean safe place to crash. And it was SO CLOSE to Termini station and the Colosseum, right in the heart of the city!!! For light sleepers, there is some noise from the street, but it didn't bother me. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice little hostel. Good location. Positive and helpful staff. ...bat the floors are dirty (especially in the bathroom). No mop, sweep the floor after washing. Bathroom dirty and not cleaned at all time there. There is not luggage room.

Great stay! Wonderful people. Friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it. Metro is really close and the metro day pass is only 4 euro easiest way to get around.

Great hostel run by really nice people. $0.50 glasses of wine and free Friday night pasta that is amazing! They didn't lock the closet door when storing my luggage for the day (nothing happened to it), but other than that great location and experience.

Takes 40 minutes walk from Termini and 20-25 mn. walk to Colosseum. Good to be near a metro station though. The staff seems nice but they aren't. Especially the old lady with the brown hair is very very rude. Listen to me lady! Don't act like you're doing a favor to us. This is business and we're paying for it. If I'm cold and need a blanket because it's already october, you can just say "Sorry, we dont have any". You cannot say "Go Away"! The bath is clean if you're the first one to use it.

Nice hostel. Rooms were clean and fairly spacious. Staff were nice and always helped with everything... met some really cool people through the free spaghetti nights they have on the weekends. Really enjoyed my stay here!

The staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere was friendly and the location was just great (close to the metro station and Colosseo). I'd certainly recommend it.

It is a place that has bugs in the beds, specifically the human parasite Cimex lectularius (scientific name to search wikipedia). I do not know if now is generalized to all rooms, but I know that they do not care, because there are reports in the comet a month ago saying the same thing, then you risk to sleep with them, because it is very difficult to control. I claim at the reception and they promised me my money back, but it is a lie and do not care. Do not ruin your vacation, please!.

i stayed both in "secret garden" (which seems more private and posh) and main part of "ciak hostel". everything was nice, but @v. manzoni the place is too tight (especially the kitchen, kinda reminded me an anthill). though pasta-nights were lots of fun and "socializing", met really cool people there. location is fine, as it's close to metro, but it's soooo noisy - even the earplugs didn't help sometimes. and yeah, another problem was the mosquitoes - they're just everywhere!
