Good location, although the directions to the hostel aren't detailed enough. We ended up asking someone who had heard of it before, but I would recommend looking up how to get there from the train station BEFORE you arrive, because it really is quite easy if you know where to go. Other than that, everything here was great. Two bathrooms/floor AND fully stocked kitchen for cooking! I only wish they had 24hr reception bc we arrived late and had to rush.

It was a small hostel, with not many amenities. However, the rooms were large and there was actually a working TV. The staff were quite helpful and the place was reasonably clean. It's a short walk to the attractions, but not in the best neighbourhood.

Was a nice place to stay, the rooms are clean and spacious. There is also cooking facilities which is a bonus for those on a budget. Quiet of a night time for those that want a god night sleep. Most people in my room we wanting an early night so was perfect!

We had a very good stay at the hostel. Though the location is a little away from the center. Especially if the weather isn't good..it seems too far. But otherwise it wouldn't seem that far. Its a 15-20 min walk from the center & 5-10 min walk from Firenze S M station. The night staff was really helpful. It was a lady..don't remember her name but she did point us out to some good trattorias, places to hang out in etc. Room was clean, has fee wi-fi, a TV in every room & a fully equipped kitchen.

The environment in this hostel didn't quite suit me. There's no common space to meet other travelers and it just gives off a bit of a creepy vibe. I ended up leaving earlier than expected and booking a night in another hostel. Althugh if you're looking for a quiet hotel like accommodation, then this might be right for you. There is also a kitchen that you can cook in. I would not recommend this place to my friends though.

The hostel seemed very new and modern. You get a lot of value for your money. The room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Regardless that we had to walk a while to get anywhere, I loved this place. My 4 friends and I shared a 5 bed room and it was very comfortable and clean. We had to share two bathrooms with the whole floor but we never had any problems. Each bed had it's own outlet right next to it. We had free large towels. There was free wifi that always had a strong signal. AND we had our own tv in our room! As study abroad students it was the first time watching tv in months. Talk about luxury!

Lovely and clean, spacious rooms, close to train station, modern and well equipped. Rather lacking in character, with no real communal area. Not a place to meet other travelers, but a great place for a (relatively) private stay.

I have a wonderful time in Ciao Hostel! I meet a lot of new people and would stay again if I go to Florence. The staff was really helpful. The only bad thing is that there were bugs in the night.

Really modern, clean, and well equipped hostel! Every floor had a separate kitchen and dining area. There were two fridges, lots of cutleries, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. Every room had a TV, closet (though no lockers), desk, and desk lamps for each bed. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. It was a very pleasant stay in this hostel.

Nice rooms. Location is quite nice! Unfortunatly, pipe for metan gas was broken nearby, so was a little stinky in room, especialy late night. Overall, nice place, would recomanded to visit! Walking distance to center of town...

Great hostel. Close to the train station, 15 minutes from the Duomo, 30 mintes from the river and the road to Micheal Angelo's Piazza lookout. Good kitchen, well equiped. Good common space but not a ton of bathrooms. Food is fairly expensive in Florence but there are a few good grocery stores. It is a bit of a trick to find them and hostel staff were not very helpful with that. There were also no locker in the rooms but the hostel was pretty secure so it wasn't a problem.

Didn't talk to the staff much, but I'm sure they would be helpful. The rooms were nice and clean, great kitchen, hot water, and kind of shady bathrooms. The one was missing a lock on the door and the other had the toilet seat broken off, other than that, the place was awesome. I would definitely stay there again. Maybe a ten minute walk from Firenze S.M.N. so that always helps!

Very nice, new and clean. Poeple were friendly. Few small problems - the lift wasn't working in the morning and there was no one to leave my key with at check out, nor was there a drop box. Kitchen was also a bit small but I had no problems with that. Overall it was a great place to stay, excellant value for money and I would stay there again. I saw a staff member in the street and she greeted me, made sure I was enjoying my stay, etc. Great staff.
