The hostel itself is very good; the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The kitchen is also very good EXCEPT they don´t give you any basic ingredients which I think is a huge flaw, so if you are planning on cooking everynight make sure you buy the essentials like SALT and OIL. The major flaw was that it was SUPER BORING and it looked empty like a horror movie, guests did not come out of their rooms so if you are looking for a FUN environment, this is NOT THE PLACE. Far from the city centre.
It is very nice, very clean hostel and is located not so far from main train station in quite and peaceful district. Both the day-time and evening-time receptionists are very kind and friendly. The most important is they have very clean sheets, very clean rooms, big kitchen and very peaceful place (not for party-lovers). It is a place to rest after a busy-scheduled sightseeing and museums.
I love this hostel! So clean and the kitchen is awesome. The facility is perfect! The cleaning woman is very beautiful, and kind! Room is big and comfortable place ! I recommend everyone to visit Firenze this hostel!
Nice hostel but a little out of the way. About a 10-15 minute walk to the train station in the opposite direction of the major sites. Hostel itself was nothing special but good for a one night stay. If you're looking for the typical hostel environment this is not the place for you. Everything looked pretty clean and the staff were very accommodating.
Not the most ideal location but since everything is within walking distance in Florence, that's alright. No hostel atmosphere at all, more like a guesthouse. Not ideal if you're traveling alone. Facilities are good less the internet which was down during my stay. Staff could be more engaging.
A 10 min walk from the SMN station. Make it 15 or 20 mins if you're carrying luggage! Dorms were spacious and kitchens had all the necessary amenities. They don't have a 24 hour reception so it might be a problem if you arrive too early or late. Check out is possible anytime. Friendly staff and overall a nice and comfortable hostel.
The hostel is nice and clean, though a little bit far from the station, about 10-15min walk. The staffs are nice. I enjoy my stay here.
Very good place, spaceous, clean, fully equipped kitchen, definitely good choice!
Private rooms good size. Ours faced street and was quite noisy. Kitchen good. Bathrooms clean. Wifi good. Staff adequate. Location was a bit away from action but 10 mins walking got you back there. Beds comfortable. Somewhat hotel type hostel but covers all the basics quite well and was pretty good value. Recommend if you want to cook and not rage.
The location of this hostel is terribly far away from the main train station, you need to walk at least 20 mins from there. We spent almost an hour looking for the hostel after a tiring train journey late at night and due to all the chaotic things happened due to our cancelled flight, we booked the hostel at last mintinue, we didn't pay attention to the latest check in time for this hostel (at 10pm!!) , we were not able to catch the last check in time, it's a terrible experience!
Very good location near the train station. The room is clean and nice except four rooms have to share two bathroom and one of them has a broken door Which can't be closed. Sound insulation is not good, which means if you have some active neighborhood in your floor, you won't sleep good.
Ciao hostel was by far one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The kitchen was so spacious and had a microwave, stove top , kettle and a fridge. There was also so much crockery and cutlery. The location is also great and in walking distance to the San Lorenzo market and Central fruit and veg market. Our room was also so spacious and long and we could spread out all our stuff without feeling cramped. You could also walk to the station and hire bikes there too! Go Ciao !
There was nothing I disliked about this hostel. It was clean, secure and quiet....not a party hostel by any means. Most of the Florence attractions were easily walkable.
Clean and friendly place, but not very hostel-style. Rooms are quite sparse and anonymous
Very nice budget hostel to stay at. We spent two nights at a four-female dorm room and it was pleasant. The separate shower and toilet was clean. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped. The female receptionist was welcoming and very helpful - she let me use the EU electric socket as I forgot to bring mine. One minus point is that I left with several bites - possibly bedbugs although the general cleanliness was too good for this to be true.

There's no computer for guests and the common areas are splited between floors, but apart from that everything's perfect!
I and my wife had a wonderful stay in the hostel. The hostel was easy to find, only 5 min. walk from the train station. We were having some problem with our travel card (the VISA network was down) but the staff was very forthcoming in helping us. The room we got was overlooking the street and was excellent with everything in place. The shared bathroom was clean. The kitchen had everything working. Recommended!!!
