This hostel was a amazing. The rooms were all clean and modern. We got a towel with our sheets and bedding. Such a good deal for the price. Awesome kitchen and lounge space. We felt very safe and the location was a 15-20 minute walk from the sites in Florence.

When you enter this hostel you feel like you're in a hotel. High level of security (you use 3 different keys in order to get into your room). There're kitchen and apparently wifi (I didn't use). No bunk beds and there's tv in the room (didn't work though). I felt like the location was a bit remote after staying really close to the city center. Not very atmospheric place, good if you just need a place to sleep.
We staid in a 4 bed room, as we were 4, and there was plenty of space. The bathroom was shared but there was no problems with it because there weren't many guests in our floor at the time so we never had to wait to use it. There was also a fully equiped kitchen. It's a great quiet place to stay in firenze.
It was as expected for a hostel. Pillow and linens could have been better, but otherwise, facilities were fine. We had a fire alarm at 4:30am and there was no one on staff to respond or call the fire dept., fix that.
The place is like a Hotel, but is pretty neat and that should be enough. However during our stay there, which was 2 nights, the aircon wasn't working properly. And on our last night some ASS decided to trigger the fire alarm (for fun?!!) which meant the whole hostel was up and out for at least 2.5 hours while the neighbour called the firemen and hey tried to figure out what went wrong. When someone contacted the "emergency no." given by the hostel, the person that picked up refused to help!! wtf
The hostel is a 15 minute walk from Florence train station in the opposite direction to all the shops and sights. The road leading there is quite quiet, but I didn't feel unsafe really. The hostel is quite small but the rooms were really nice and the communal space was good - almost a full kitchen. The rooms are laid out really well (I was in a mixed dorm).
The women spoke just italian, that may be a problem for many, they were really kind though
It felt more like a hotel but I loved that it had a kitchen in it which I have had hard times finding in Italy. But if you are a lone traveller it is hard to meet people there. But nice place to sleep.
Really good hostel, but a little far away. Did a lot of walking! To get places and as its middle of summer, walking around all day to explore without the relief of a quick trip back to the hostel and aircon (cos it isn't quick) made for very tiring days!
Excellent location in the town, everything can be done by walking. Very quiet and quite clean. Two bathroom on the floor and one without lockers. Air-conditioning. A kitchen is available to cook and there is a fridge. Breakfast not included.
Ciao hostel was a perfect choice for me, it was clean and close to everything but not too close so quiet during the night. I met some amazing people at the hostel and the kitchen was perfect for saving some cash. This is perfect if you are traveling alone and you have a choice to meet and talk to whomever you wish. Would not hesitate to stay here again
The location is a bit outside of town the staff was not very helpful and there were no lockers to secure your things. I did however really appreciate having a kitchen and a clean room.
A good hostel close to the train station. In my opinion it was also easy to walk to the main tourist attractions. This hostel isn't a place where you can easily meet people. It's very calm though. No safety lockers! The staff is ok but not super friendly.
Clean hostel and a 10 minute walk to the SFM train terminal. Ground level facing the street had lots of traffic noise. Multiple bathrooms per floor. Very nice kitchen facility, plan on making your own breakfast. A large towel and shampoo are provided on arrival.

The place is greate you have the oportunitty to hace everything lime home without any problem you can also meet some new people in the kitchen and everything. The only problem is that is a bit far from the places but is really near to the train statin santa maria nouvella
We felt like we were getting European flavor, starting here, other than we appreciated the extraordinary a/c (not sure that's the true European experience). Great location, right on a bus line and walking distance to the train station, a little longer, but still very reasonable walking distance to Il Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Academy Museum (all must sees). Very happy with this place, and it's affordable!
Very modern and clean bathrooms (2x per floor), rooms (cupboards but no lockers) and kitchen (packed with necessities). All were cleaned daily. Wifi was good but occasional weak signal in the rooms. The kitchen/dinning area is a great place to meet other guests. It is +-20mins walk to the train station and then another 5-10mins before you are around the main sites but would highly recommends this hostel!!
Rooms are pretty nice, bit far away though.
