Good hostel for a night or two, but since it's mostly booked by groups (school field trips!) it's difficult to meet people there.

Nice hostel. It has only wifi on the lobby and it's not free, you have to pay for it.

The evening staff was very rude, first thing they asked me was money. The morning staff seemed to have no idea about what they were doing. There no lights, nor plugs need to the beds in the room. Wifi is not included, and it's not available in the rooms. Breakfast is not included, and costs 4 euros not for much.

clean, comfortable bed, decently located and definitely reasonably priced for strasbourg. there is a cafeteria style restaurant on the 1st floor which is convenient and i liked all the storage cubby spaces in the room. however, there was a faint sulphur-like smell in the room that seemed to be coming from the taps or the water. also, there was no door to the shower which didn't give us a lot of privacy but at least i was staying in an all female room so it wasn't a big deal.

One of the guys on the desk had quite poor English, which made it difficult to ask directions etc.

The Roms were covered with dust everywhere. Besides that the room was smelling like an old people's home and the carpet was covered with dirty spots, like the walls. The breakfast wasn't intercontinental at all, the roles were hard and tasted like from the day before, not even the croissants were included in the price. The ham and cheese was nowhere seen !!!! The only good thing was the location and the beds were clean, which are anyway expected to be clean !

Waaaaay too overpriced! No soap in toilets, no breakfast included, no WIFI included (you have to pay an extra euro), no hostel atmosphere whatsoever.

I don't recommend this 'hostel' if you're looking for a hostelling experience. It felt like a hotel and there are a lot of families that stay there. I didn't run into a single person that was around my age (22). You have to pay for the internet. If you pay extra for something you would at least expect it to be good, but you can only use the internet in the lobby (and yet in certain spots in the lobby) and the connection is awful. The people at the front desk were really nice though.

I was on the 2nd floor and was really tired from travelling. When I wanted to sleep very room on my floor had kids sports team running around making noise all night and early in the morning so I 2 bad nights sleep. And their was lack of parents/guardians watching the kids the walls are paper thin so hear everything . A hostel is for people who are travelling all the time and want somewhere to rest not be disturbed the only good thing about the hostel is the location. Only good if you area zombie

The hostel is nice. However, I think the price it charges should include breakfast, but it doesn't. Thus, it is a bit expensive.

Although this is a very big hostel with 4 floors there is a nice and familiar atmosphere. If you compare prices you must not forget that Strasbourg is an expensive place in general.

Very expensive for what you get. The hostel is not downtown and not that close of the train station. Staff was not particulary friendly and rooms were not really clean. Rooms are bigs and luminous though.

When we came to the hotel, we had a booking, but the receptionist just asked us a random amount of money, which was higher that we expected. We were given no explenation and the sum was written on a randon piece of paper. When we entered the room, it smelled badly. Also, 1 of the rooms lacked of extra blanket, which was needed, because the rooms were too cold. The heater was put maximum, but it did not get any warmer. The wind was blowing from the windows. No soap, no hot water, no waterpressure

It would be nice if there were storage units in the rooms where I can store my personal belongings. There wasn't very many spots to use the Internet in the lobby ; il aurait été gentil s'il y avait des garde-meubles pour garder mes affairs. Aussi, il n'y avait pas tant de lieux pour brancher mon portable au rez-de-chausée.

Breakfast not included was a downer, but OK with forewarning.

A nice place to stay, but we had to pay to use internet (usually we always have it for free) and it works only on the hall, not in the room so it's very unconfortable. Breakfast is too expensive.
