Auberge très bien située, dans une rue calme. Les chambres sont agréables. Bémol, les toilettes sentaient terriblement l'urine. Petit déjeuner, bien fourni. Il n'y avait malheureusement plus de fruits, et le café était un jus de chaussettes' nous n'avons pas goûté au dîner, ni au déjeuner, mais les menus semblaient alléchants. Accueil sympathique et serviable, de bons conseils.

Internet didn't work on the third floor, no scanning in the hostel possible. Helbfulness of different staff members is very different too. We had booked for Saturday high noon, but could not move in before afternoon 4 clock. So we had to leave our luggage in the luggage room, which is even more unsecure.

Had a great stay at Ciarus, could walk by foot to the city. The door handle didn't work but the staff members were very kind and lent us their security key. Unfortunately breakfast was not included like in most of the youth hostels in France. Also the parking was not very cheap, 15 euro for 24 hours. Wifi connection not for free. But all in all it was a nice quiet night :)

Modern Hostel. Good location. Clean rooms.

Excellent reception, was impressed by the guy remembering my name. Secure and in a good location. Love that the lockers are free to use to store valuables! The key to open the room was a bit hard to use. The rooms were quite good in terms of beds, with the room divided in half giving a bit of privacy, but the bathroom offered no privacy. The shower only has a curtain separating it from the room, no door or lock. And there is no space to keep your clothes and towel in the shower cubicle.

Have trams and buses connection to the train station, 15 minute walk to the Cathedrale Notre Dame, have post office nearby.Clean beds with towels provided. Staff are average,the atmosphere is quite cold, don't get to meet friends easily, but if you are just finding a place for sleeping, this hostel certainly can do the job. The only short-coming is that the hostel charge 1 euro for 24 hour wifi access, but the wifi disconnect itself every few minutes, very annoying.

It\'s a hostel kind of normal. nothing special but a good place for staying over. However, the sound insulation doesn\'t really work, so it may be a little noisy. Especially this hostel receipt many student groups. Overall, its cleanliness is OK, and there\'s no door between your room and bathroom.

Friday to Saturday night was extremely noisy (until way past 2 a.m.) due to school groups and nobody from staff did anything about it. Very annoying!

I wasn't given a key of my own as the man at reception said there appeared to be some missing, he just let me into my room, which was ok for me as I didn't want to go out in the evening and was only staying one night however it doesn't make you feel very secure knowing there are missing keys. The shower was only separated from the room by a curtain that opened opposite the door to the room, not very discrete! The shower was also cold at 7am. Not acceptable.

Good value for the money

Everything was quite good except the staff had bad tempers. While I understand that I probably should have done a better job learning French prior to coming but at the same time you would expect a foreigner to be a little lost in a new country.

I thought the stuff could have been a tiny bit more friendly but apart from that I enjoyed my stay (very clean, near to the centre...)

Breakfast should be included the price! Just some toast jam and coffee would be nice!! Also you should have a common room so we can meet fellow travellers and socialize.

A very good hostel for a reasonable price. Pretty big, but the wifi is cheap.

Really enjoied my stay!!

The rooms were great and clean. My only issue was that there were no kitchen facilities at all. Not even a kettle. Also - the rooms had no soap for your hands. But apart from that, it was pretty good.

Centrally located, comfortable beds, quiet at nights. Nothing special but a good hostel if you want to spend as less as possible on sleeping. I will stay here again next time I come.

Looks great when you get to the front lobby but the rooms are disgusting, staff was very unfriendly, have to pay for wifi and it doesn't even work in the rooms. Bathroom was absolutely filthy. Would not stay here again.
