This place was an amazing value. My girlfriend and I had a little apartment by the church/castle on top of a hill in Riomaggiore. We had a patio over looking the ocean which was hidden from the street by beautiful flowers and vines. It is a steep hike to get to the apartment, but only about 5 minutes from the Main Street and the view is unbeatable for the price. Room is simple, with a bed and refrigerator, but that is all you need... you should be spending most of your time outdoors.

Don't be fooled when they say it's just a 2 minute walk from the train station- that's just to get to the office not to your actual room which will be up approximately 200 stairs. The room I stayed in only had two lockers for 6 of us but was like a mini apartment with a kitchen, dining room, and small terrace. Not my favorite hostel but one of the only options in riomaggiore so it was acceptable.

Owner was really chill

Cinque Terre Holidays has an amazing location. The travelers we met there were also great. However, the sleeping arrangement was a bit cramped and the bathroom was tiny (and only 1 for 9 people). It was cleaned pretty well but the sink didn't drain the the toilet seat was broken. The living quarters were also quite small. If you don't care much about the place you're staying but want something cheap and in the heart of the action, this is your place. We didn't interact with the staff much.

Although the room was not attached to the check in place, the hostel was in a great location. You do have to climb up many stairs but everywhere is a climb in Cinque Terre. The staff seemed a bit disorganized and didn't talk much, but the process to check in/out wasn't complicated. I would definitely recommend staying in Riomaggiore as it was my favourite town, there are lots of shops/restaurants and it is the best place to start the hike. This hostel is also one of the cheapest!

Wonderful accomodation! Only drawback is wifi is only available where you check in, but other than that this place was perfect! Also, I think Riomaggiore is the best place to stay of all the Cinque Terre villages.

The location couldn't have been better. The hostel itself was livable but definitely not the best. The man at reception was pretty useless. Luckily, I was able to meet nice people in my room, otherwise no common area for socialization. I'm sure you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the hostel anyway...

the hostel allowed older people in the same dorm unit as the younger travellers and it was not very comfortable or everyone. the rooms are very run down and the door lock needs to be replace. on be the second night, the owner overbooked our room so three girls had to share one double bed.

The location was incredible- right on the Main Street of Riomaggoire. Rooms were tidy & clean on arrival and had no problems. Kitchen in room is brill. No wifi in room but you can connect from the reception room or just outside it. No common room so if you are a traveler looking to meet people at the hostel this might be hard for you unless you have a few people in your room to socialise with. None the less had a fantastic stay and would 100% stay here again.

it was up about 80 stairs, although the entire city is built into a hill. it was basic, but there was more than enough space. the office was the only place you had WiFi and the room was a bit down the street. the man in the office wasn't really helpful but we didn't ask that many questions. would stay again.

well priced and good location. good privacy in rooms. shower didnt work too well. wifi was in front of the office not in dorms and owner wasn't friendly. still worth a stay

Really bad service from a creepy italian dude. Above a bar, so late a night loud noise.

the staff was extremely nice. wifi is only available in the office outside on the terrace. bathroom and shower was extremely small. bed was really comfortable. blankets were provided, but no towels or hand soap.

Place was good, had to walk up a huge flight of stairs to get to the apartment which had an amazing view over the whole town and water. It was really clean and cleaned daily too, had a bathroom (shared between 8 people) and kitchen and a little balcony with table and chairs. No wifi in the apartments but the view more than makes up for that. Staff were friendly enough and let us keep our bags in the room till 2pm which was really nice.

The location is great, however the room set-up, regardless if you paid for 4 people, 7 people, or 8, people, you'll get 8 people. There's only 1 toilet to share among the group and the facility is quite old. The beds are creaky and you best not have a broken back because most of the beds sink quite deeply. Owner is extremely unfriendly and impolite, I think there are better hostels.

The room was good, really clean. The only problem was that there were just 3 plugs for a room of 8 people. And they don't accept credit card for payment.

I got a room on the center street, so the location of my room was amazing but looking at other reviews they're definitely scattered around the place! Other than that pretty average, but I didn't think it was overly unclean or anything. There are no locks/lockers either which is annoying, only one power point in the entire dorm and the shower head holder was broken. I guess it would be fine for a couple of nights.

Definitely a great location, but you have to appreciate the quirky vibe of this place. More of a shared apartment than a hostel, but I enjoyed my stay nonetheless.

Great location. Great price. Decently stocked kitchen. Conducive atmosphere for a close hostel community. Not the cleanest in the world, check in has to be before 7pm, but overall great value and good times!

Great view! It's separate from the office and secluded, so not very many people around. It's higher up in the village.
