The dorms face an incredibly loud street, running trams, ambulances, and people drinking and shouting at night. I didn't sleep a wink and would not recommend the dorms or a street facing apartment unless you sleep like the dead.

This place was so nice. I was extremely impressed. The bar was cool and had good specials. Right across from a subway stop. Berlin is huge and there is no city center per say. Bars are random places and sights are scattered too. The best bar district is by the East Side Gallery. The weekend is a cool club with a 20th floor rooftop bar in Alexanderplatz. Watergate was cool too and was on a river in East Side. Do the bike tour under the TV tower. It's at 11 am and 4 pm. Great hostel!

I had a decent stay here but I wouldnt suggest it for solo travellers. The lobby feels like a hotel lobby for sure and can seem a bit daunting to meet people if you are not used to that. Otherwise, the rooms were great and the cafe/breakfast was wonderful!

I feel myself very good but it was more a hotel with shared bathroom without kitchen. The toilette was disgusting every morning. So I have to go to the next coffee shop. But the room was clean The staff was friendly and flexible but if I don't ask they don't tell me any info or tip about the city. The dinner is including of the price from 7pm it's nice :) I working also in a hostel which is very familiar, that's why I'm so strict. Is a good place for big groups of students.

Very good hostel. I booked a 5 bed mixed down and was given 4 bed mixed which had a balcony (felt like luxury!) Toilets and bathrooms very clean. Beds comfy with night light. The guy that pre-checked me in was lovely and friendly I can't remember his name though- sorry. Breakfast buffet was good and the free dinner each night was much appreciated, this gives you the opportunity to meet and talk to new people not in your room. All round a very good hostel and a brilliant stay. Thank you.

The Circus is centrally located - only a 10 minute walk from 'Museum Island'. Whilst there is a U-barn stop right outside I found the Hostel centrally located enough that I could walk to all the places that I wanted to go to. Free dinner was provided every night and a free keg of beer on Mondays at the pub in the basement. A great Hostel - the cleanest and best organised that I have stayed in !

AMAZING! I stayed at this hostel twice as long as I planned, because I had the best time here. The decor, the staff, the atmosphere, the location; I can't fault it. Ken took a group of us on an awesome bike tour, which was one of the highlights of my time in Berlin. I loved the bar downstairs, as it was so easy to go there alone and just start talking to the person next to you. This was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at!

Great hotel, a travellers dream. A lockable box next to your bed with a power point? Backpacker perfection!

Highly recommend circus, well located near loads of cool cafes, staff were friendly and had great tips, and it was all clean and new. quite a big hostel, good place if you're looking to meet people, there's a bar and cafe in house which were normally pretty busy. I would stay there again without doubt.

Why is there no communal kitchen? It's annoying you are forced to pay from breakfast. For the price of the room, breakfast should be free. The common area feels like the waiting room at a doctor's reception. Where are the comfy couches? iPads don't make up for keyboards. They are annoying to type on. Not all of us want to browse the Internet randomly. The bathrooms have no natural light and neither do the hallways. Are you trying to be a hotel? Nice staff and good rooms and beds.
