Best hostel I've stayed at. The location is good, not that it matters because Berlin's public transit is A+. They don't have a kitchen but the attached bar and café more than makes up for it. Best feature: lockers with power plugs in them! Right by the bed! The lockers are a bit small but they have a luggage room downstairs if you're paranoid about your Victoria's Secret or whatever. I never felt unsafe. Beds and pillows are great. A+ hostel.

Just great! We stayed in the new apartments. Balcony with panoramic view, new kitchen too. And comfortable beds. The only complaint is that the directions to the airport were very wrong.

Really great hostel. I had a private room with shared shower/restroom for several days. Was pleasant.

The hostel was an amazing experience – I love the breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and recommending good restaurants and sites. I really enjoyed the tour with Andy. The rooms were really cool as well.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Had some issues with the individuals staying in my dorm room and the staff were incredibly accommodating and immediately sorted out a new room for me. Bar downstairs is lovely. Impressed by the Secure storage facilities for left luggage on my day of departure (individual secure lockers in the luggage room). Well situated just above rosenplatz station on the U8. Will definitely return. History tour was fab as well.

All aspects were great: located right in front of a metro station, staff was super helpful and gave us awesome suggestions for food nearby. Facilities were all clean and all-you-can-eat buffet for 5€ is worth it! Walking tour passes by the hostel and the small bar had a nice play to chill out! Definitely recommend this hostel!

nice place, well located, easy to go to most every where with the tram or metro from right the door. not much social life in the common area. no big lockers for backpack, just a small box shelf for small stuff but you can leave valuables at the reception safe. staff friendly and helpful

Circus Hostel was great. I really loved the vibrant bright colours on the wall which exuded a sense of fun and liveliness. The rooms were spacious and the atmosphere was great. The staff members were the highlight of the stay. They were so friendly, helpful and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

Well-located hostel beside Rosenplatz and on the U8 line. The rooms and showers were spacious and clean. There's a coffee shop joined onto the reception, and a cool bar downstairs (also a microbrewery!). Lots of amenities in the surrounding area, the staff were helpful and there are also several tours that leave from reception over the course of the day. Circus is my favourite place to stay in Berlin!

Great location. Didn't include breakkie and didn't have a kitchen but the all you can eat breakkie next door made up for that. Great staff who were very knowledgeable. Very clean facilities and the beds were super comfy and also clean. Highly recommend the bar downstairs. Great beer they brew themselves (there are others) and a good atmosphere to chill or pre game before hitting the nightlife. Definitely recommend this hostel.

Fun hostel with good views from the top floor (especially if you are visiting over New Year!). Staff were helpful and generally the hostel was a nice place to stay. There aren't any large meeting areas which really hinders you getting to know other people in the hostel better, but there is a bar. Staff in the bar were not the best and the bar itself didn't have the best environment so if you are travelling alone and want to meet new people, it may not be the best hostel.

Absolutely amazing hostel! The staff are so friendly and accomodating, happy to make reccomendations or help you out with whatever you need. i stuffed up my booking and they went above and beyond to ensure i didnt have to change rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean and bathrooms were never dirty. Hostel cafe has good coffee and the bar downstairs is cool! Right next to a U-Bahn station 2 stops from Alexanderplatz so the location is perfect and central. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Was a very relaxing stay. More like a hotel than a hostel. Even the bar in the basement was cool.

Good hostel which did the job but nothing out of this world incredible. Granted I was only there for a short stay, however for a Saturday night and its reputation I expected a little more. What's cool is their bar downstairs where they brew their own beer. Rooms were fine, pillows were horrible. Toilets on one of the levels were closed which required a bit of navigation around the labyrinth to find alternatives. The walking tour company they partner with is unreal - definitely do this!

This hostel is a large hostel with a bar and has a hotel feel to it. The communal areas are fairly small, but going down to the bar is fun. The rooms were really clean and spacious, some of the best I have seen in a hostel so far.
