Circus is still an excellent hostel. Good breakfast and a cool bar.

All in all very pleasant. It would have been good to have more chairs for relaxing in the dorms. In my room of 12 there were only four chairs. Staff were very helpful. The other clientèle were generally also really friendly and it was very easy to make friends.

Lovely, fun, clean,... Perfect

The Circus was a really nice clean place, the only down side is there is no kitchen and not even a place to make a cup of tea or coffee. If travelling alone it wasn't such an easy place to meet people unless they were in your room or down at the bar (which closed early 2 out of 4 nights I was there) But nice big rooms with tables to sit round and good hot showers

Was as nice as staying at a hotel! Loved the breakfast, and having a bar in the building. Staff was very helpful and patient about answering questions. Location was good, lots of restaurants, bars, laundromat, pharmacy, etc, nearby and easy access to metro.

The Circus is just a perfect hostel for your stay in Berlin! Very well located! It's really comfortable to have a bar in the hostel The team is really nice. What is amazing is that you meet so much friendly people from all parts of the world!!! I definitely recommand it!!!!

Best Hostel ever!

Staff is extremely helpful, serviceminded, friendly and accommodating. Nice café, and bar downstairs, I like the everyday free bees. Clean and safe. Miss a common room though, however there are comfy armchairs in lobby. Superb buffé breakfast for EUR 5, wish there was unlimited coffe though. Perfect location. Hostel has good maps, guidebooks, etc. Lovely place.

Was good except the staff tried to cut my lock on the locker as there had been a mix up with the lockers

I had a great experience at The Circus Hostel in Berlin. The first big plus is it's location, centrally located in the heart of the city right near the busy Mitte area it is easily accessible by Train from the airport (Rosentaler Platz station is just across the road) or by bus around town (there is literally a bus stop right outside the Hostel!) The Hostel itself is excellent, clean and the friendliness of the staff create a relaxed atmosphere Great value for money, thoroughly recommended

Great Staff, 10 min walk to the museums and, as in Berlin the Underground is open all night, extremely easy to get to the bars! Had a great time

It's a really well designed hostel. I stayed in a 10 bed dorm and the room was huge, there was also a big table and chairs in there so people tended to spend more time in there which made it easy to meet people. The all you can eat breakfast is nothing short of amazing... it's probably what got me out of bed every the morning. Staff are really helpful and friendly. One tiny problem was there there were only 3 showers for our floor, so there was a bit of waiting in the halls at busy times.

Very secure because without the access card, you cannot use the lift to get to the rooms. Staff was very helpful and patient.Thought the whole idea of having winter goodies at the bar was very interesting although I didn't get to enjoy them because I missed the duration of the free food/drinks. Location was off-centre so traveling on the metro was needed. But this was not a big issue because we had to take metro to some other places as well. Didn't like that people could smoke in room balcony.

I had a wonderful stay. This was my first time in Europe and all of the staff was very eager to help with any question I had. The facilities were top notch and this was by far the nicest, friendliest, cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in!!

everything about the circus was awesome. the only thing that concerns me is when I rented a locker I was told it was a ten euros deposit and you get the money back when you return the keys. When I returned the keys, the receptionist said there was no deposit put in my locker and that the rent was five euros. I told him that I gave the person ten euros. He was really nice and just gave me my money back. There should be an organized system as to who collects the money and where it is placed.

Staff was awesome!!! Special credits to Torsten Lorenz and the sweet girl tending to the reception early in the morning. They were the most helpful and I think none can compare to their awesomeness. Thanks Torsten for helping me send back my stuff back to singapore when I left a pile of things behind. Forgetful me! Love the bar, love the cafe, wifi and of course the spacious rooms. Thanks circus!! U guys will always be my choice if and when I return to Berlin.
