Decent hostel- in a very noisy place in the city.
I still like this hostel very much. Very well run. But management have renovated the bar since I last stayed. I can see what they are trying to achieve, but hasn't really worked - the upstairs bar has zero atmosphere. Too well lit, feels like the breakfast room...which it is. I would still recommend the hostel, but not as good as it used to be for solo travellers.
Fantastic hostel in a great location . Staff are really warm and friendly and full of information . The facilities and rooms were spotlessly clean . The decor is fresh and fun . The bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and a special mention to the lovely bar maid who was so kind . Would definitely stay here again !

Great hostel. Good sized rooms, friendly staff. Not a big common space but good bar downstairs and cafe. Right next to the subway, walkable from the train station (if you like to walk, takes about 20 minutes). About a 20 minute walk to main attractions.
Amazing place, great location. I will definitely be back.

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed in! We had a spacious 4-bed dorm and each bed had a lockable cabinet with a power socket inside - genius! The hostel was very clean and secure and staff were super-friendly and helpful. Showers were always clean and had better water pressure than mine at home! There's a cafe attached with an all-you-can-eat breakfast spread for €5 and a bar downstairs with cheap drinks. There's both a tram and U-bahn station right outside so easy to get around. Recommended!
Extremely clean. U bahn and tram bang outside. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere and quiet at night. Impressive.
Great hostel, i think probably the best i´ve ever stayed.
Circus Berlin was more like a hotel than hostel. Very clean and modern however as a solo traveler it lacked atmosphere where I was hoping to meet other travelers. It didn't have a common room (can't count the lobby) or kitchen and it was awful for someone traveling alone. Good location, good spot if you're sick or want something quiet to relax.
it is a hostel, good quality, trained staff, although some rooms possess Community bathroom, you do not trouble for being clean. Having good security safe at reception and lockers in the rooms. Entrance to the rooms is done with cards, not have breakfast, to be paid (EUR 5), but worth it.
I gave this hostel all excellent reviews because I truly believed that this was the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It looked like a hotel but at the price of a hostel. (Circus hotel is across the street.) I loved the set up of the rooms, they are so clean, the showers are great, there are lock boxes in the room and downstairs, and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible. Outside, the hostel has easy connection to city center. I would definitely stay here again!
it was okay…very clean, but not the nicest/warmest atmosphere.

This was one of the best hostels I´ve ever stayed at. The atmosphere was incredible with a great lobby, cafe, bar, and giant room! Everyone in my room was so much fun and it was incredibly easy to meet people. The staff was also extremely helpful.
An excellent, clean and conveniently located hostel. Friendly staff, nice onsite cafe and bar. As with many very large hostels, its not the easiest place to meet new people except in the dorms. Not cheap, but would be happy to stay again.
Great hostel apart from security. Had to pay an extra deposit for a padlock for valuables and nowhere to lock up your general stuff.
Circus is a fantastic hostel! Super clean, everyone is really friendly and the place is very groovy. All in all I would highly recommend :)
The staff is fantastic - ask for directions to the train station, bus station, how to print something, etc and they'll produce a little typed up explanation of what you need to do. The hostel is in a great location - right above one of the U-bahn stations, two stops from Alexanderplatz, walkable to a lot of things, the bus to the train station picks up around the corner. The Brewer's city tour leaves from the hostel. It's a pretty social hostel. Recommend buying the hearty breakfast buffet.
Like staying at a hotel! Excellent facilities- cleanest shower/ toilets in a hostel I've stayed in, great bedding and dorm rooms. Good security. Not the cheapest hostel but worth the extra money for a good nights sleep!
Best hostel ever stayed in. Bathrooms /showers were extremely clean and room was spacious/secure. It was more like a hotel. The bar was closed for renovations but the cafe was still open and serving beer/wine/anything including snacks. Great location, you can walk almost everywhere if you wanted but the underground is located steps away which is very convenient. We found the staff to be very friendly. Dinners were basic but very good. (lentil soup and bread) Thanks for a great stay!!
Free evening meal, very sociable but I still got a good nights sleep. You can hire bikes and iPads, free walking tours and all sorts!
