Most of all I liked the style of this hostel - like a big cave, and it's location in the center of old city - it is very, very good, really. And you can see all Jerusalem from the roof balkon. But this hostel is very claustrophobic and close: with little kitchen, unstable hot water in the shower and wi-fi, which works only on the first stage.

As usual, reasonable minimalism for good money. Imporyant- there is a place to spend the night in the Old Town in the house of the Middle Ages.

Hostel is dirty. The only good thing about it is location - in a heart of Old City of Jerusalem. Not bad value for money, but I expect more. Becouse of holiday - israeli police threw us out of hostel early in the morning (I would rather said - late at night !) Recomend if You need accomodation very close to all points at Old City but honestly I won't stay in there next time !!!

Location is great, staff was really helpful, but the toilets would need serious rework.

I really loved this place. The staff was friendly, it was close to the beach, everybody I ran across also staying there was interesting. They had a cool roof to hang out on. Wifi always worked and was fast, and it was one of the cleanest places I stayed at. I mean I actually sat on the floor to pack, which I never do in hostels.

I stayed for two nights at the rooftop, which was an amazing experience, and good value for your money (considering other options in Jerusalem), if you don't mind early church bells and a soft breeze. Facilities are small and nothing fancy, but for backpackers this is perfect. A bit crowded, but its easy to meet other people!

You certainly get what you pay for here. Its a charming building but there are far too many people crammed into the dorms. We stayed on the roof which was a cool experience but its meant to be a 19-man dorm however our last night there were 40 people staying there. Also the staff were a too defensive about criticism given by me and other guests, rather than accept the issue and say they'll resolve. That said, we paid around AUD $16 each a night so its cheap and cheerful enough!

Don't stay here!!!! It was expensive and disgusting. First, they require that you pay in cash in exact change. Second, they rent out spaces to sleep in all the common areas and as a result the hostel is packed full of people. In this packed hostel, there was NO SOAP in any of the bathrooms, which were gross to start with. It's definitely not a youth hostel as the median age of guests was about 40. There are many better options in Jerusalem.

Great location, amazing building, clean. The only drawback was the wet bathroom without much in the way of a shower capacity.

the location and building were cool. . . BUT, staff was rude, inconsistent with pricing and apt to charge different amounts for people in the same room, the 'tent' on the roof doesn't exist--only damp, cat-p**s-smelling foam mattresses; unlike most hostels, there are no storage lockers in the rooms--only small, pay-lockers that cost 10 shekels per day (I think). The dorms are so cramped that one may not put one things in one's own room. They don't even provide SOAP in the toilets.

Perfect location and hostel. The room was a bit too small for 8 beds, and no window.

I felt the bathrooms were small and dirty seeing how only a couple bathrooms served a lot of people. We were really annoyed that we booked a 7-bed mixed dorm and there were actually 8 beds crammed into this tiny room leaving no place to put your stuff. When we let the staff know this they didn't care and did nothing to help us. Location is great in the old city and the price affordable comparably speaking. I would stay somewhere else next time and suck up the extra money.

I slept on the roof which is a great option for Jerusalem - like camping in the city. Fine weather and a beautiful location meant a great stay, and cheaper option. Security wasn't a problem.

Wonderful sleeping on the roof under the stars of Jerusalem. Good melting pot for fellow travellers of all ages; but will plunge you immediately into the menagerie of the Old City. Staff terrific!

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff/facilities/ambiance could not have been more wonderful. Next time I will probably spend 20 sheqalim extra and get a room, but sleeping on the roof was definitely an experience worth having!
