An awesome location, less than 100 metres from the Jaffa gate/citadel/church on the spot where jesus was supposed crucified. Lots of spots (cushions on benches and floors) to relax in. Knowledgeable front desk folk and a great veiw from the roof. An awesome location, less than 100 metres from the Jaffa gate/citadel/church on the spot where jesus was supposed crucified. It was November and it was very cold at nights but there were no heating so we were freezing and could not sleep. There were no cups for common use in kitchen. In one room there were no chair or hook where to put clothes or hang a wet towels so we had to put everything on the floor. It was November and it was very cold at nights but there were no heating so we were freezing and could not sleep. ots of up's and downs in this hostel. The location is second to none. The roof and building are fantastic.
The one computer for the whole hostel is inadiqeute. No decent lockers(the rentable ones are too small). No locks on our dorm door. Kitchens are poorly equipped.
But I'd stay there again.ots of up's and downs in this hostel. The location is second to none. The roof and building are fantastic.

Amazing location on a quiet street in the heart of the Old City. Our room was cozy, charming, and reasonably priced. The staff was fine but not particularly friendly. Would be nice if they accepted credit cards. Amazing location on a quiet street in the heart of the Old City. Our room was cozy, charming, and reasonably priced. Last time I really enjoyed this place. but this time it was packed with people. everywhere were "beds" now, in the common rooms, too...so, if you want to go to bathroom or kitchen, you have to climb about sleeping people. we have booked a 19 people dorm. in truth it is the roof. that would be fantastic in warm times. because of the rain all people were put somewhere in the houses. and beds are very uncomfortable (pain in the back). This is an old hostel in the middle of Old Town. The location is unparalleled, but you have to take the good with the bad. It's small and cramped, and you can only get it so clean. They do clean, but it gets dirty. You gotta be realistic with this one. Great view on the roofdeck, I highly recommend sleeping there, it is an experience. If you are up for roughing it a bit, it is cheap, and an amazing place to stay. This is an old hostel in the middle of Old Town.
