Sleeping on the roof is quite an experience in terms of really inhaling the vibes of this city. You should bring an extra sweater just to make sure that you do not freeze on a windy night.

The best thing about the hostel is the location, right smack in the center of the old city. and everything important is 5 min walking distance. Other point, if you book the cheapest option, it is not a tent, but sleeping on the roof, under and on old used (prob never washed) blankets and mattresses. But you do have an amazing view of the old city, and wake up to sunlight and church bells. It is adventure, but you should be an adventurous person to like it. and for 14 Euro a night, it is worth it

The manager is a very nice and helpful guy. Unfortunately thats it. The facilities are not at all. The dorms were dirty and dusty and the showers were not nice at all. We would not recommend this place.

Really nice place to stay! The athmopsphere is nice sleeping in a room with high ceiling and old walls. The 13 person dorm was absolutely fine. It was kind of crowded because all the rooms were booked out plus a few people have slept on the rooftop outside. Book in advance!!!

They have tried to squeeze every last inch out of this place which makes it horrible. There are no towels, the rooms have about 2 sockets to go around everyone, lockers are at extra cost, wifi is in the downstairs communal area (tiny and uncomfortable). The showers are over the toilets and felt dirty. Overall it was generally clean but it needs a massive refurb. Having said all of the above this is apparently one of the best hostels in Jerusalem. I guess some might call it character but its like being in a

Hostel was fairly average. The dorm I was in was very cramped and got very little fresh air, the reception area is tiny and you have to pay to use their lockers. It has a very good location though, with an awesome view from the roof.

VERY friendly staff... the best thing in the hostel. Horrible smell in the second floor and there is no elevator.

I would easily return here. 4 days is hardly enough. A simple Breakfast option would be nice but otherwise it is money well spent. Great location and staff.

I slept in a female dormitory. 9 people sleep in a quite small room without window. The air easily goes bad and there was a strange smell that I can't forget.. The common space is nice though.

The sanitary facilities are always a bit messy since the toilets are placed inside the showers. In Winter the rooms become cold. The location right inside the old town of jerusalem is excellent.

Not bad but not good. The location and price was good, but the freezing cold dorm rooms, the small number of showers, the tiny kitchen for the entire hotel, the lack of hot showers at times, often dirty bathrooms, and small wifi area all contributed to a less than enjoyable stay. Overall I was happy to be staying in the old town but I left after 2 nights and found a much nicer hostel in Jerusalem for the same price. Wouldn't recommend it but its not a bad choice if you want to stay in old town.

Interior of this hostel made a very good impression on me. Location is excellent. Kitchen a bit small, but it wasn't a problem.

Great locations and comfy rooms, helpful staff.Very authentic feelings of the cave-like rooms and traditional beduin- Palestinian decoration. The only downside are the quite old and small bathrooms and kitchen, but fair enough for a modest backpacker! I would definitely come back.

Very convenient if wishing to stay within Old City Jerusalem, but difficult to find.

A nice hostel, very friendly staff, only the curtains on the window and the bed linen were too old and grey, the blankets smelled strange.
