Very nice location and staff, people are useful and nice. It is in the middle of old city, near Arabic touristic shops and stands. After 5-6pm it is quiet. The hostel is beautiful, an old style building. However, private rooms are a little crappy, they don't have natural light or ventilation and are rather dirty. The windows to the rest of the hostel cannot be properly closed , towels had weird stains and under the bed was full of filth. If they make an effort on better cleaning it would be ok.

Only problem (not minor One): hot water turned cold on me in the middle of the shower. This happened more than once, so its not just bad luck, and the Hostel is very cold in winter, so it was hard. Outside this, good hostel.

We arrived to a cold and wet weather in Jerusalem, and so was our hostel experience. We cancelled the two remaining night because of the temperature in the building; bed room, WC/shower and lobby. The floors were slippery because of water. The wi-fi only work so-so at a singel corner of the lobby room. The staff was respectful and nice, and also gave good info about the city. When the weather is that cold we expect a heathed accomondation. Im sure we would have better experience during summer.

Fantastic location and the building has lovelold stone walls. There's a common area where you cannot chill out,by not really any facilities like a bar/games etx... but with the Old City right outside the door that was totally fine. Showers and bathrooms are tint and not too many, and could definitely be improved. Overall, you're paying to stay in the old city, and I you really get that.

Incredible location, most sights easy to reach. Service varies according to the staff from very friendly and helpful to even rude. The atmosphere is nice, but if you want to rest the room walls are so thin that it could be noisy at night. The double bed room facilities are below average: room small, and bathroom ridiculous tiny, with lack of space for your belongings. There is no separation between shower and toilet, bathroom door doesn't close properly, and wifi doesn't reach the room.

Good - Very good location, in the Old city, 5 minutes to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Very atmospheric old building. Nice staff. Beautiful view from the roof terace. Bad - unpleasant smell in the room, I guess, from the old plywood shelves.

The hostel roof simply has the best view in Jerusalem, anywhere. The staff are awesomely helpful, friendly, etc. The location feels extra secure compared to some Old City hostels (not that any of them are insecure).

This is one of the cooler hostels I've stayed at. We slept on the roof, where they provide mattresses and blankets. It was so awesome waking up to the church bells and prayer calls. The only downside is the stairs! The building is very old and interesting. The kitchen is very minimal and one shower was broken, but the staff and location are phenomenal. There are no lockers provided but you can rent safe space and someone is always by the door. All in all, this place was a great experience.

Excellent location, very friendly staff and they help you in everything you ask. A great place to meet interesting people and share good times with a tea or talking on terrace to spectacular views. I will return to this hostel when I travel again to Jerusalem.

A bit pricy considering it has no breakfast, no free lockers, tiny rooms and beds, but is not a bad place either, the building is an experience itself.

We are Happy you enjoyed your stay with us , but we are not sure what you mean by pricey ,you paid 61NIS ($16) ,for a bed in a dorm ,you had free use of WiFi ,showers, kitchen and you think this is expensive ? Israel is one of the most expensive countries in the world and its a good idea to do your homework before traveling because 61Nis is what people pay for milk and bread . Thank you Again

Kitchen too small for amount of beds

The rooms and bedding were comfortable and clean. The advertisement on the internet shows that the roof has a shade net to sleep under, but it did not, which is false advertising. Friends of ours had to stay on the roof. The kitchen is too small for all the people that stay there and very hot, it needs a fan. The bathrooms all need a permanent rubber broom to sweep the water away after people showered. In general we enjoyed our stay, as we met amazing people, especially the staff.

I arrived late at nigt&was given very short &uncomfortable bed in a tiny dorm with accommodating 8 people. I was given no explanation re facilities and had a shower in a flooded &dirty shower. I believe that I was charges 19 euros for the pleasure and found out that a person in the same dorm pail 12 euro. They tried to charge 10 shekels for a lockers & if that was the rule that should be made clearer on their info.Worst of all, as I was leaving my bed was given unchanges to a new person

A friend and I stayed in a private room. Rooms are pretty awesome, but the fan in the room did nothing making the room really hot at night. Also the hostel advertises the kitchen as being fully equipped, there are two stove tops that don't really work and a definite lack of basics (usable cutting knives and bowls)

Located in the old city of Jerusalem. Real old city of Jerusalem style with ancient stone walls - a bit rough around the edges and very basic but has all you need. I would highly recommend this place.

Some rooms have no windows nor fans nor AC. Since this hostel is located in a city with a DESERT CLIMATE, the staff should at least have small fans that they can place in each room. Also, the bathrooms were all tiny and had no ventilation which made them smell pretty bad.
