It was my second time at the citie hostel in Dublin and I liked it really much. The stuff is really nice and always friendly. The breakfast easy, but enough (toast, jam and cereals).

We only spent a night here and everything seemed pretty OK. Rooms were clean enough, We had hot water in the morning. We chose this hostel for 2 main reasons. 1) it's location: We went to Dublin for a night out and this hostel was within walking distance to coppers and it's various well known surrounding pubs. 2) its price. I would happily come back here.

The staff was very nice and welcoming but the room was very dirty. Hair in the bed, filthy carpet and gum in the sink. The showers were hot and great after a long day. Our last night we had to get up early for a 5 am flight and there was a party going on beside us. We asked these boys to quiet down some but it did not work. Perhaps they should check on how many are staying in one room because it seemed like quite a few.

mattresses were REALLY uncomfortable, and ovens weren't working in our building's kitchen (there are two buildings, the main building's ovens work fine) so we had to walk around the corner to bake things.

I had to leave ealier than planned. Instead of 6 nights, I only stayed 3 night due to severe toothache. As I had already payed the full amount there was no possibility to get any monay back... Why not at least for one night? I really do not understand...

Room was fine - nothing special, but it's a hostel and you get what you pay for. Location isn't bad. Great price - only 20 euro for me and one guest to get a private room with a double bed. Bathroom was fine too. Overall not bad.

We paid for an ensuite which according to the website included a toilet. There was no toilet in our room.

Was happy with the Staff who were very helpful but disappointed with the kitchen facilities, which were so poor, that we ate out in the evenings, rather than cooking in the hostel.

the hostel is very cheap when comparing with another hostels in dublin. I've been in a private room with my girlfriend and it was ok. But the staff looks like not interesting in you. You feel like strange there. The hostel is not too clean, but it's the price that you pay. The oven doesn't work and they dont care about that.

We had a double bed room, wich was great. But it is not a hostel where you met other travelers to get in contact with.

Some people from the staff were really friendly and helpful. Just one woman was unfriendly. The character of the hostel was not really great, not beautiful but we had everything we needed : internet, kitchen clean, information from the desk if we needed it, tv room, pool table and a cheap price for the room. What else do you need?

Good functional hostel, but not any character, it felt a bit makeshift. We had no hot water in our shower for the whole three days. The staff were really willing to help and let us use the shower in another room, which was great, but even over the three days it didn't get fixed. The breakfast was cornflakes, coffee and toast with jam, which was fine but nothing wonderful. I'd prefer the room be cheaper and guests provide own breakfast.

The staff were VERY rude and aggressive in Citi Hostels. The cleaner aggressively banged on our door on two occasions demanding we open the door. An absolute disgrace. There was no fun in staying at this hostel at all. Cannot get over the staff, and how they treat paying customers. Not acceptable and I certainly will not be staying there again. I'll spend the extra few euro staying in a hotel were they treat you like human beings and not second class citizens.
