low value for money. staff almost unfriendly and not willing to help eg give any tips for town. room was so small and always overheated (we couldn't reduce heating) and noisy because it was in the front. bathroom was ok, but not too clean and both shower and toilet didn't work so good.

I had a confirmed reservation that was not honored as confirmed. I had to walk through a smoking area to get to my room. The kitchen filled with drinking Eurotrash was open all night. I would sooner be a woman giving birth than stay here again. Needless to say I will not return. I will, however, blog about my stay to fellow members of my unions---Actors Equity and the Screen Actors Guild in the USA. Edward Schwartz USA

The Male Bathroom on the floor we were staying was poorly maintained with water across all the floor areas, and no soap or toilet paper available. Top floor bunks were without any sort of guard, and storage space for these beds was also at a Premium. The room was also a bit too warm.

The mattresses were not good. We could feel the metal springs in the mattresses. The beds were unstable and noisy. Breakfast was not much to choose from and there were no clean plates, cups and cutlery. The shower and sanitary were good and clean.

Your hostel needs to be cleaned (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen...) !!!!! The breakfast is very poor => you should propose more products (chocolate powder, bread, other varieties of cereals...) The building should be renovated to seem more clean.

Everything was dreadful. We had to walk through the smoking area to get to our room. it was right by the bin area. The radiator didn't work. It smelled. The bed wasn't laid and there were hairs on it. The bedside table was broken. There was a significant gap under our door were there was a terrible draft. There was no hot water in the bathroom and the shower didn't work properly and there was a centipede in our room and my partner was bitten all over his legs.

The morning before we arrived the plumbing failed, so all of the toilets were plugged. We stayed for two nights and three days and weren't able to use a functioning toilet anywhere near our rooms. I understand that it was over Easter and services may have been scarce, but I would expect that fixing the toilets is a priority. The three of us staying in a quad came back to our room at 4 in the morning and there was somebody sleep in our bed, and the gentleman at reception had no sympathy.

The Citi Hostel in Dublin was one of the most horrible hostels i ever saw. When we came in in the morning the staff was really unfriendly when we wanted to bring our stuff into the lugguage room. When I came into the double room i booked the sheets on the bed were dirty and there were hair on them. The bed itself was so uncomfortable, it felt like pallet. The bathroom on my floor was very dirty as well. There was no light in the cabins and you counldt lock them as well.
