Nice people, nice atmosphere. It is close to Gambir, but not in a neighbourhood with many shops or restaurants. There are a lot of mosquitos. It's definitely not the hostel's fault, it's just that there are a lot of mosquitos in that particular neighbourhood. One morning we found a cockcroach in our bedroom though. Also, the bathroom was not as clean as we expected (even from an Indonesian bathroom), especially the toiletseat. Overall we were a bit disappointed, but it was nothing too bad

The host of the hostel was really kind and helpfull! The room was clean, but you need to keep your door closed because of the musquitos. Bring lots of lotion against musquitos and you'll be fine. Waterpressure in the shower was oke and the water was warm. They have a nice place inside the hostel were you can sit and cook. The hostel was accross the busstation were you can easily go to Kota/Batavia, very cheap. Last thing: the aircon is doing very great, put in on at least 23•C.

The place is on a pretty central location. However it was hard to find some places to eat in the neighborhood since there isnt much restaurants around. The beds are average, you have to pay 10k ekstra for towels and 15 k for breakfast which was only toast and jam. Many moskitoes in the bathroom. Staff is nice.

It's a nice place in Jakarta, the big busy city. It's close enough to all the happenings and pretty easy to find. The staff is really nice and willing to help with anything. Not expensive either. It's not too exciting but you don't really want to be in your hostel anyways.

The hostel is right next to the main bus terminal, so you can get anywhere easily. The building, rooms and facilities itself are very nice, although the standard of bathrooms could be easily bumped up a few stars by a slightly better scrub. Compared to worldwide standards, cleanliness is a bit behind, but for Indonesian standards it 's good. The staff are very helpful, social areas are good, our stay was enjoyable, thanks!

The place is conveniently located, close to main sights and the gambir station. The place is clean, however we found the shared facilities to be not very well maintained, the wi-fi wasn't always working and not all staff speaks english which makes it difficult to communicate and get extra information.

Very Helpful staff and not far from train station. . Nice rooms and patio breakfast area. Booked double room and got twin. would be good if they had some printed copies of the city available.

This is a nice, clean, friendly hostel not far from the National Monument and Gambir station. The rooms are comfortable and the common areas are clean. The best thing about this place is the host who goes out of his way to help you whether that be getting a taxi, planning your day in Jakarta, or next destination.

The location is quite shady. There is no warm water and quite a lot of mosquitoes in the hostel. There is also a lot of construction around the area. They also do not accept credit card making it hard for payment.

Owner Comment (Hide)
The rainy season is almost over, the sun will shine again, so no worry about shady place or mosquito, All corner are daily sprayed, mosquito repellent (gel/electric) is available anytime our guests want it. Most of all, it's save mosquitos. Our warm/hot water working very well, maybe it needs a bit patience to have warm water flow out from the shower. About the payment, there are lots of ATM nearby.
