The best part of this hostel was its staff. I spent a lot of time in the lobby using the internet (it was weak in one of the rooms i stayed in). All members of the staff at the counter were incredibly kind and helpful in my search for an apartment. The rooms were tight but actually a little more spacious than my friend's hotel room in town of the same price.

It is far away from the downtown even Lille is not a big city. It is not convenient to get the hotel especially for the tourist who can't speak French. After I got off the subway, I had no idea which way I should follow to get the hotel. There should be a clear guidance for the tourist how to get there.

A bit far from the city center, but there is a busstop just across the road, just to get back in the night is a bit far to walk.
