City 54 Hotel & Hostel Reviews

I recommend this hostel. Good location, very close to pubs and restaurants with low prices. Only 3 Ubahn stops to reach most tourist attractions, so you can use the "reduce fare ticket" (€1,4 instead of €2,3). Nice buffet breakfast also! The room was clean, big and very comfortable. The only problem was that we book a 10 bed female dorm and the only 3 roomates we had were male. There was only one bathroom for 20 people, fortunately we were only 5 guests in a comfortable and big 20 bed dorm.

The hotel is not far away from main train station and Berlinermauer.Friedrichstrasse is the main transfer point for S-bahn. Thus we carried our stuffs many times back and forth to transfer to the S7. Anyway, very clean room, value of money, nice breakfast, friendly receptionist.

Hostel was excellent,breakfast was awsome, the bed and bathroom facilities were fabulous! but it would have been better if free internet and common kitchen facilities or at least micro-oven were available.Inshallah I will choose this hostel if I visit Berlin again!

Great hostel, in a great location! Although, there didn't seem to be enough bathrooms--only 1 for 12 people(in the dorms). And there weren't computers here (a bit inconvenient). I will say that there was an absolutely incredible breakfast, which was included!!! Very fancy, with lots to choose from--a real delight for a thrifty traveler. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

it's an amazing quality price ratio !!! I recommend it !!

location is strategic, right in front of U-bahn station, not so far from the center. a very value of money with a great breakfast. room and bathroom are also clean. however, i am not sure whether the heater was working because the room was very cold even after i set the heater up to maximum. the lesser you pay, you'll get your room in a higher floor. going up and down carrying your big and heavy bags/luggage to the 5th floor without any elevator might be a heavy exercise for you.

Room was spacious, clean, excellent value for the money (breakfast included), considering location and holiday season.

Always a pleasure to stay here!
