The rooms are confortable and good (althout the lockers are really small). There's a sink and a mirror inside the room which is good for the morning. The bathroom is enough for a hostel.

The rooms in this place were really small. I know they are trying to get as many people in a room as possible, but the two twin bunk beds barely fit in the room, and there is no room for four people's luggage in there. The location is great, but it is also a huge inconvenience that the reception is closed for so long in the middle of the day. I had to sit there for hours waiting when all I wanted to do was leave my luggage there.

Average. No sheets, average bathrooms, there's a kitchen, close to everything, lots of stairs. It's cheap, considering it's in Zurich

Very central location, clean. Small common area, so maybe not so good for meeting people.

The hostel is in a great location and is a comfortable place to stay. The price is significantly higher than the other hostels we stayed in, but so is everything in Zurich so I guess that is to be expected. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here!

The staff and location are fantastic. The bathrooms are old but clean. The kitchen facilities were hideous! There was no kettle or microwave. The kitchen's were overall dirty. Considering Switzerland is such an expensive country most people would want to cook meals but i wouldn't cook here. It was more than adequate for a two night visit which is all you need considering Zurich is so small.

Unbeatable location, enjoyed the free tea and friendly staff. Bathrooms could be a touch cleaner though!

Nothing flash although everything is in place to make your stay pleasent.Only bad point is the closure during lunchtime hours which is popular in Switzerland and can be a inconvenience.Great location!

The hostel is located ideally near the train station. But, at CHF 36/night it would've been nice had the breakfast been included. Caution - the reception is 3 floors above the ground & I'd a really hard time pulling my luggage (about 25 kgs) till there.

The hostel got the basics, a bed, a locker, a small shower. Place is a bit run down and the stairs to your room or reception is small and difficult - if you have big luggage then think twice. Also the bed sheets cost money. If you add all the cost together, the hostel is not that cheap. Its worth spending a few more CHF and stay at the other independent hostel in Zurich. I did and I did not regret it.

pros: location is super, 10 minutes from main station, stuff is super nice. I found a lot of people had quite bad review about this hostel but as this is the cheapest I can find in Zurich and anyway I will just stay there for 1 night and leaving early so I just said fine but the result turned out to be quite fantastic. I think the experience of hostel depends much on what kinda people you meet in the hostel rather than itself. I found quite a lot of nice friends there and I do enjoy my staying.

Hostel is just OK, rooms were small and had a smokey smell. But given the awesome location I would stay here again. I did like the fact they sell snacks and beer at the counter though.

The shower was very small, WIFI only at the reception area. The bed was ok and the staff was quite nice. Good location and in the heart of the Christmas market.

Hostel was pretty easy to find, liked that every floor had it's own kitchen and bathroom, bathroom was old but was pretty clean. It would be nice if some form of breakfast was included for the price.

Reception being locked between 12 and 3 is quite a pain in terms of storing bags, etc. Only real complaint.
