Location it´s just perfect, in the meadle of the old town. Easy to reach by walking from the train station, and actually from the hostel you can get to almost all the must-see-places by feet. It doesn´t have breakfast and sometimes it was hard to cook because there was no oven, only one microwave and lacking of cluttery and other facilities. But the staff is nice, everything is clean, internet works fast and you can get deals to buy swiss nifes.

The reception is on the 3rd floor, and female dorms situated at " 3rd floor " ,which is actually the 5th floor. Makes it very inconvenient for female visitors who carried luggage ( backpackers are relatively fine )

every thing was wonderful but one major problem is that they have no lift and u have to climb heavy 2 or 3 floors depends where yourbunk ed is. kitchen was wonderful, bathrooms were clean and u can cook or heat your food, coffee machine was there but u can have after paying, internet also u have to go on putting coins and that was expensive as the key board was different. . one thing i would like to tell u is that what u r asking us to pay either in dollars or euro is not the same amount.

They charge for sheets! The staff is always gone. Whatever they are doing is more important than helping you, so expect to wait till they are done. Rooms are old and smelly. Wifi only works in lobby. Check in is 3 so dont come eariler. Theres no there to help you.

It was the most weird experience I've ever had as a traveler. The various "People" than hung around...What was that?

The hostel was fine, just minimal happening about town and the hostel itself was fairly dead.

Great location. Staff was good. Mattresses were disgusting and stained. You had to pay extra for sheets and put them on yourself. Why not just include in price of stay? No hot water in showers. Bathrooms were not adequate. Also no age limit? Creepy old dudes staying in my room. Nasty.

It's worth your money, because of high price in Switszeland, anh simply you can't find the better place to rest your body after long travel right in the center of city. The staff is ok.

The hostel is in an excellent location. It's pricey when compared to regular hostels, but you have to remember that everything in Zurich is expensive. Luckily, there are small kitchens on every floor so we could easily cook our own meals without having to share a crowded communal kitchen with everyone in the hostel. The ventilation and air flow is not great -- rooms have a tendency to become stuffy and for smells to linger.

The hotel is clean and nice to stay for a couple of days. The boulevard can get insecure at night, however the neighborhood is nice to walk around by day.

We were convinced to have booked a female dorm but then it turned out we booked a mixed dorm so we changed to a double bedroom, the so-called "kitchen room" which consists in a bunk bed put into an old dysfunctional kitchen which was ok for the price but not exactly luxurious. The hostel is on the second to third floor of and old narrow building, rooms are tiny, reception is closed between 12 and 3 which can be annoying if you want to leave around that time.

Oh, what should I say about this place: reception closes too early 10pm: had to run down the street as my flight was delayed, the door to the place is down a side street and not well signed, and was afraid of having to sleep on the cold, it was snowing, street. Had to be out the next morning before 10am, supposed to be on holiday?. Only one blanket on the bed, as a result was pretty cold all night. Otherwise it was great. doh

It's just OK. the total price in Swissland is very high. the price for the hostel is a little high, but comparing with the location , it's acceptable. the kitchen is a little small for more than 4 people. the microstove in 3th floor is out of service, but the cooking staff in 4th floor is out of service
