The location was good, as was the security, and the option to hang out onthe rooftop with an awesome view of the city was a nice surprise.

Quite ok, the building and room is a bit old. Cleanliness is acceptable. The staff is friendly and humor. The only thing is, need to pay 2CHF to rent bed and pillow sheet. The hostel is at 2nd floor, no lift, tired to climb up the stairs.

This place really smelled bad and I am sure it is due to the fact that it is located over at least one kitchen. The facilities were not all that great and it was not an easy place to access (the stairs were not that friendly). The place seemed very dingy and I feel like I over paid for the service I got, which did not include sheets or any sort of breakfast.

Great location, right in the middle of old town and next to the ogre fountain. Keyed entry to dorm room and locker. Laundry available though only one machine out of 3 is for guests. Friendly reception. Reception is closed and no one was around from I think 11am to 3pm so you can't leave your stuff there and return later to check in. Large common area, decent kitchen, lots of communal food left there too (I may have left quite a bit myself). Good hostel. Expensive city/country.

The stairs are too narrow and too high for people with bulky luggage. The rest is wonderful.

When we got there after a full night of travelling the reception told us our room wouldn`t be ready until 5 pm. She said we could lock up our things for the afternoon and that the office would be locked at noon - yet she left by 11 am and we had to walk to the train station in the rain to lock up our things instead. -washrooms are communal with mould all over the ceiling -common room is cramped -wifi only in common room -one has to walk up many flights of narrow stairs -loud kitchen below

Very courteous staff. Thanks for doing my laundry; I was in desperate need, while globetrotting!!! It was well-worth the 10 Francs! :D

Nice place to stay, no wifi in rooms but a decent common room. Expensive for dorm rooms, but you can't really do much better in an expensive city like Zurich. I would stay here again.

Wasn't the easiest to find. But kitchens on every floor and can use whenever you want. Clean bathrooms.

Located right in the city centre with walking distance to everything. The hostel has a very young atmosphere. The staff is friendly, but the bathrooms are not the cleanest

Although only in the city for a few hours, the hostel was pretty nice in a good location. There was not very much to do in the area except drink expensive beer and sit by the lake, but a nice place.

I stayed there several days, it\'s location is pretty well, 7-10 minutes walk from the train main station. The rooms were ok, although the fact that there is a 3- CHF extra charge on sheets is annoying, I knew it so I brough sheets from my house , but it put extra weight to the suitcase. The kitchen is a bit small, but I have not encountered situation which I can not sit and eat properly. The most disturbing thing is that the reception is closed between 12:00-15:00 !

I am rating facilities poor - even though they are generally fine - because I was incorrectly led to believe that Wifi would be available in the room and it wasn't.
