Considering that everything in Zurich is overpriced, this place is not reasonably priced. The hostel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station and is within walking distance from the Grossmunster. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hostel as well. Shared bathrooms and the rooms are quite clean. The only downside is that wifi is only available in the main area, which can probably sit only 12 people. I guess they want to encourage people to mingle.
There was a problem in our reservation and the staff was not very friendly at the beginning to help solving it. There are too many stairs, which makes difficult to carry your luggage. The internet works very poorly in the hall. Wouldn't recommend.
This was a basic but pretty good hostel. The WiFi is pretty bad even in the common area so that's the one downside. But the bed was decent and the kitchen was stocked with cooking equipment. There are a lot of stairs to climb which is difficult especially with luggage! But the location is perfect and central. As a bonus, I found the other people staying there extremely friendly and considerate!
The hostel is quite clean and neat. Staff is helpful and security is good. Located near the city centre. Main flaw is that the 1st storey is 3 storey up from the road level. So, practically have to carry the luggages 3 storeys before even reaching the receptionist by stairs. :( Toilet is not that fancy as well.
There were too many people in one room and not comfortable, but very close to the station. It's hard for me to find the hostel.

Great location! Staff were friendly. Very cool roof top! There was only 1 plug per dorm room (6 bed bay) so you have to charge it in the common room. the shower drains were clogged so the shower water filed up during a shower. It was expensive but everything in Zurich is expensive. They charge 3 frank per sheet and per towel so bring your own if you can.
The kitchen was alway smelly and there were no enough spoons, forks, plates, etc. There was some drunk guy sleeping in the hallway. And it was too expensive when compared to other hostels in Switzerland.
A lot of stairs to climb.. don't bring a lot of luggage
The room was small, but the beds were comfy and everything was very clean! The kitchens and the bathrooms were all newly refurbished and they were very nice!
This hostel was awesome! The staff were so helpful and always gave directions and recommendations. The location was prime in the old town and near the river walking distance to everything. The only downside was the showers had no shelves to put your belongings on and the rooms only had one power point. The price seems excessive but most things in Switzerland are!
Very good location! Right near the city centre. There are so many stairs to get to the hostel, so very difficult if you have a big suitcase. The wi fi does not work in the rooms... The rooms are small and cramped. You have to pay for the sheets but they are really clean. It's quite expensive for the quality but Zurich is overall just an insanely expensive city, so it's all relative! Staff was quite nice and friendly. But... The reception always seems to be closed, even during opening hours.
Wifi only in common area, sheets paid for at sign in, limited reception hours. However, excellent location and drinking and cooking at the hostel is allowed which can save costs
Even considering that Zurich is very expensive, this place should provide much better value for money. Tiny rooms, tiny common area, and non-functioning wifi. Plus the 40 USD per night doesn't include sheets, which is just ridiculous. the main thing you pay for at a hostel is a bed, and the bedding isn't included? The hostel is in a great location, and is generally clean and acceptable for a one night stay (staff were also very friendly), but doesn't offer much more than that. Avoid if you can.

Good location with friendly price. The staff is very nice and helpful. Room is clean. You need to rent the sheets at the cost of 3 CHF. There is a blanket instead of a quilt, so it's not warm enough for me in the winter, and there is no quilt cover but a piece of sheet, so you have to cover one of the sheet on your body and then the blanket on the sheet. Overall, it 's value for money.
A part for being well situated, there isn't much about that place. Wi-fi doesn't work half the time, because there's to many people on, and it only works in the reception area. There is no linen provided (which should be written some where on hostelworld site). The price is pretty high for no fonctionnal wifi, no sheets, no breakfast and a not so nice owner (he's working in a backpacker, he would really need more people skills). If you have lots of luggage be prepare to climb up lots of stairs.
Nice small hostel. Great location to everything in Zurich. Wifi works well in the lobby. Staff was very nice and helpful. Not a ton of places to meet people but if you hang out in the lobby and chat someone up, youll be fine.
Close to the train station (which means it's easy to get to/from airport), great location in Zurich's prettier bar/restaurant area close to downtown. Price looks bad but if you knew Zurich prices, it could be considered reasonable. Keep eyes peeled because the front door is actually around the corner from Niederdorfstrasse. About four floors up to the reception. Squeaky floors. Staff quite friendly. Lockers are small. Cramped.
Zurich is one of the most expensive cities in the world. The price you pay for basic accommodations here will make you cringe. But the city is worth it. The location of this hostel is perfect. Just don't spend too much time here. Use the tables on the rooftop to save some money and have a meal from the nearby COOP.
If it wasn't for that hostel I wouldn't even go to Zurich. It's an expensive country, so they have to charge you if you don't have sheets, towels or if you'll use credit card (but small charges though). The reception is not 24 hours, so take a look at it before booking. Besides that, great structure, even a rooftop terrace with a great view! 3 kitchens!! In Zurich with expensive meals this is important! A lot of stairs, but for that price in that location it's alright.
