Great location and friendly staff. The laundry is way too expensive, so avoid doing it here. Renting your sheets is absurd and is obviously a gimmick to make the price appear lower. But Switzerland is expensive, so you have to bite the bullet. Good lockers. Bathroom is about as clean as you can expect for a hostel.
This hostel is amazing! Everything was really clean, the best part was the staff! The redhead was SO nice, did our laundry and helped us get around town as well as showed us how to get cheap train tickets. I would recommend this hostel to anyone.
Not enough electrical outlets. Was sort of a sketchy building as well. The rooms were too small for the amount of people in them. Sheets should not have been extra considering how expensive everything is already in Switzerland.
The location is not far from the Zurich main station. The staff is very kind. In downtown of Zurich, the cost is very economical and it's a good choice to stay in this hostel.
The hostel was really nice, although it had lots of stairs, but with a good backpack it wasn't a problem. The kitchen was really good.
An elevator would be good as the hostel is on the 4th level.

Staff was nice. The wardrobe was broken. Common room is too small. Because in the room Wifi doesn't work so people were gathering in common room.
Great location and probably the best value you will get in Zurich!
Common space is very small and as wifi is not available at room, its a problem to get space there
Very good location, decent hostel, excellent value for money!
The floor is not flat so that sometime you feel dizzing when standing on the floor. But the price is cheap in that area.

you hv to drag your luggage by 3/4 spiral staircases yourself before getting to reception. only wifi at common area and common area is small. location is good. close to major sightseeing spots
Good spot. Close to train station. Floors creak really loud when people come up the steps but would probably stay there again.
Closed during day so awkward with checking in if arriving between 11-3pm. Lacking some organised activities where hostel guests could meet each other...the lounge is utilised but everyone just sits on their phone/computer. Easily better than the YHA in Zurich which is the only other option but way out of town. Could be a great hostel with a bit more emphasis on the 'hostel' experience :-)
Lots of stairs! Also wifi only in the common area.
The cheapest place to stay in Zurich so it was a mixture of young travellers like us and also older family folk. As such, our rowdy behaviour ended up getting us kicked out the next morning, although we were given our money back. Apart from that, the atmosphere was really good and we got an excellent pre-drinking session going on in the common room. Staff were a bit stuck up but we didn't let it ruin our fun. Would definitely stay again, if allowed..!
It would be much better if guests can have WIFI connection in the room. It is not very convenient to search info in a small common room and you get interrupted by visitors from time to time. Also you heard people making Skype call in the room and I dont want to listen to their private conversation!
Well we got to the hostel around 12:30 and normally you can drop off your bags and then come back to check in, but know before you stay here that the staff is NOT THERE between noon and 3pm! We did not know this! So that is very aggravating. You also have to pay for sheets and we did not know that either. But I'd stay here again in a heartbeat because YOU CANNOT BEAT THE LOCATION. It's in the center of old town and you are right there in the middle of everything. Clean and tiny lockers.
This hostel would improve significantly if #1 there were hookers in the bathroom and # 2 the lockers in the bedrooms were bigger . But I liked the location , the terrace and remembering Zurich isn´t a cheap city it´s the best you´ll get.
Good hostel, well located in the central part. Kitchen and bathroom on every floor, cleaned daily. Good common room, super friendly staff. Just be warned you have to go up three flights of stairs just to get to reception. Good workout aha. Busy/noisey at night as its on the restaurant strip, just wear ear plugs
