Loved staying here - great location in the heart of the old town, friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming atmosphere, I immediately felt right at home. I would definitely recommend this place.
Honestly, I thought it was great considering Zurich prices. The location was great and the reception was very kind and helpful. They showed us cool places to go and helped us find the places we wanted to go. Yes there is only one charger in each room but there are more in the common area which has WI-FI. Would definitely recommend it. Don't forget you either need to bring your own sheets or rent them from the hostel.
Theres only wifi in the common area. Rooms are too small for 6 ppl and their luggage.
Frankly a quite boring hostel. Good place to sleep but not much more. Great location.
Awesome hostel basically right in the center and will be going back next time for sure.

Great Hostel. Great location, clean and friendly. Thank you for a good few days.
+ good location, cheap (considering prices in Zurich) - the front door only locked / secured during night, wifi only working in the reception, only one electricity outlet in room (and none in the bathroom), strange atmosphere
Can't check in later than 10pm and only check-out 8am onwards. Not much flexibility for people who is "just to find a place to sleep and leave"
They asked us if we had packed our bed sheets with us???! Really? Who goes backpacking and brings their bed sheets? And then we got charged for using their sheets. The kitchen facilities are ridiculous too. Microwave and kettle on one level and the stove on another level and there was pretty much no pots or pans. The Wi-Fi ONLY works in the reception lounge which is really annoying. The location is good though which makes it ok but really not worth it.
I think its ridiculous to pay $40 to share a room with 5 other people but I guess Zurich is the most expensive city in the world. If you dont like stairs do not stay here.

The worst hostel i've ever stayed. Really poor entrance which goes through a kitchen of a cafe, wifi is just around lobby, it is impossible to fit the room which is for 4 people. The only good thing about the hostel is its location. Never stay here.
Only one outlet per room, and rooms felt very cramped!
If you are used to high standards by other great hostels around Europe, you can't be satisfied by this unacceptable hostel -apart from its great location in Zurich centre. Shortly: - there is neither a personal light over each bed, nor a power plug - lockers in room are too small and you need your own lock - reception is not open 24/7 - bath & WC are awful - reception is on the 4th floor (rooms start on 3rd) but no lift is available - WiFi only in reception Totally a waste of money
The common rooms needs to be able to sit more people or have a tv or bar to create a better atmosphere , especially if it's the only place to have wifi. Since it's so small wifi should be accessable around the entire hostel
Everything excelent. thanks a lot and the staff are the best. The wifi is only good.
The stairs were horrible. It's inconsiderate to put the reception so high up. Lunch time for the reception was too long. Staff did not bother explaining anything when we first arrived, a brief intro would be nice, wouldnt hurt to just smile to your customers. Overall didn't feel welcome by that particular staff. Hair dryers should be provided, and more plug points in the room please.
Considering that everything in Zurich is overpriced, this place is not reasonably priced. The hostel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station and is within walking distance from the Grossmunster. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hostel as well. Shared bathrooms and the rooms are quite clean. The only downside is that wifi is only available in the main area, which can probably sit only 12 people. I guess they want to encourage people to mingle.
There was a problem in our reservation and the staff was not very friendly at the beginning to help solving it. There are too many stairs, which makes difficult to carry your luggage. The internet works very poorly in the hall. Wouldn't recommend.
This was a basic but pretty good hostel. The WiFi is pretty bad even in the common area so that's the one downside. But the bed was decent and the kitchen was stocked with cooking equipment. There are a lot of stairs to climb which is difficult especially with luggage! But the location is perfect and central. As a bonus, I found the other people staying there extremely friendly and considerate!
