Nice hostel, clean, good facilities. The rooms are a little bit tidy, but it's not a problem. Good value for money in Zurich.
I have really enjoyed stay into your very nice hostel even if only for one night !!! It is likely I'll come back if visiting Zurich again!!! Greetings!
This hostel is expensive, but it's still one of the cheaper options in Zurich. The location is convenient, the staff are really friendly and the rooms/bathrooms are clean. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. 2 issues to note: They charge extra for sheets and the outer door is unlocked during reception hours. However, it's possible to enter the hostel hallways/bathrooms without walking past reception or using a key, which seems like a potential security problem.
The hostel is the only one in Zurich. It's quite expensive same with everything in Switzerland. But the staffs are really nice. Downside, there are not enough outlets in the rooms. I had to go to the common room or kitchen just to charge my devices.
Zurich is a too expensive city so this hostel was the best quality and price relation. The staff was very gentle, is a old strutture, but is ok. The internet wasn't working at my room, so I needed to use the internet at the lobby.
Good hostel, pretty average but just fine. In a really great location - short walk to main train station, right in the center of the city and on a lively pedestrian street with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. I appreciated the lockers in the rooms. No sheets or towels provided or internet in the rooms (only in the common area), also not a lot of common area space. Bathrooms not that nice but everything was clean enough. It was far too hot in my room (heating was turned up way too high).
The hostel is situated at a very convenient place and is considered value for money as nothing is cheap is Zurich. We got a private room for 2 and sheets are provided for free. Room is on the small side and amenities were very basic, 2 single beds with small wardrobe, and a sink for washing up. There is a shared bathroom at every level. However, the stairs leading up to the reception and your rooms can be abit of a challenge and deterring for those with big luggage.
Although more expensive than most hostels in europe, the price is not too bad for switzerland. Would have liked internet to be available throughout the building instead of only in reception - but it was fast! Good bathrooms, showers have hot water :) theres a kitchen on each floor and staff are friendly. Just a warning to those travelling with large suitcases - there are several flights if stairs just to reach reception and probably more to your room.
Zurich prices are overall fairly high, this hostel included when compared to hostels in Germany and elsewhere. The staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were quite comfy. Common space was a bit crowded at times, but with a kitchen on each floor of rooms cooking was easy and comfortable
Nice hostel to stay in. Rooms could use individual lamps for each bed to avoid the main light being used which disturbs others. Liked that there were lockers in the room for valuables.
What an awesome hostel! I thought it was kept pretty clean, props to the cleaning lady. The staff was extremely nice and helped with suggestions on places to go, how to get there, and also offered good conversation. Wi-fi only available in common room, but it definitely forces you to come out and meet people. Met so many amazing people staying at this hostel, definitely keeping in touch with all of them. Someone in my room had stolen and used my towel, staff gladly gave me a new one :)
Doors were unlocked, anyone could have come into the bathroom! That's not safe! The location is okay but the building is horrible. I knew there were stairs but had I known you were really on the 5th or 6th floor (based on the number of steps/stairs) I would have paid a little more and stayed elsewhere. Hours of reception isn't good. The only good thing were the people working the reception desk. Linen should be free! Sleeping bag brings BED BUGS!
Super cool roof garden and nice rooms. Very little common space and very expensive for what you get however.
The hostel is located in the heart of Zurich's pedestrian area. Staff is very helpful and polite. If you don't have a pc or a mobile able to connect to wi-fi for free, there's only a desktop computer you can use to surf the Web, after paying a fee. I spent one night in the six-bed dorm: room was quite small.
Would be good to add "the nearest tram station Rathaus". With this, visitors with Zurich Card or other concession Cards would make use of it. This is particularly useful when it is raining or snowing. Should include the CHF3 additional charge into the dorm rate. Staff was warm and helpful. COOP is within walking distance. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Yes, it's true the internet only works in the lobby and that there are dozens and dozens of stairs to get to the top but as long as you are prepared with that information ahead of time it is definitely bare able. I was not charged for sheets, or a lock for the locker, not even a deposit, so I guess it depends sometimes they charge sometimes they don't. Overall the staff was friendly and I don't blame them for the high prices, it is Zurich after all.

Thanks for your help!! You guys are so nice :) Merci beaucoup! C'était parfait, professionnel et courtois :)
The lockers were too small to fit our backpacks, so we had to live them in the room. The reception is not open 24h and you can't leave your bags there while waiting for the check in time. Moreover, sheets are not included (despite the high price you pay per night): welcome to Switzerland
It's really expensive for what you get. Internet only works in the reception area and there's only ten seats there. Lots of stairs. Tiny rooms. You have to pay for the sheets...
