Doors were unlocked, anyone could have come into the bathroom! That's not safe! The location is okay but the building is horrible. I knew there were stairs but had I known you were really on the 5th or 6th floor (based on the number of steps/stairs) I would have paid a little more and stayed elsewhere. Hours of reception isn't good. The only good thing were the people working the reception desk. Linen should be free! Sleeping bag brings BED BUGS!

Super cool roof garden and nice rooms. Very little common space and very expensive for what you get however.

The hostel is located in the heart of Zurich's pedestrian area. Staff is very helpful and polite. If you don't have a pc or a mobile able to connect to wi-fi for free, there's only a desktop computer you can use to surf the Web, after paying a fee. I spent one night in the six-bed dorm: room was quite small.

Would be good to add "the nearest tram station Rathaus". With this, visitors with Zurich Card or other concession Cards would make use of it. This is particularly useful when it is raining or snowing. Should include the CHF3 additional charge into the dorm rate. Staff was warm and helpful. COOP is within walking distance. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Nothing special

Yes, it's true the internet only works in the lobby and that there are dozens and dozens of stairs to get to the top but as long as you are prepared with that information ahead of time it is definitely bare able. I was not charged for sheets, or a lock for the locker, not even a deposit, so I guess it depends sometimes they charge sometimes they don't. Overall the staff was friendly and I don't blame them for the high prices, it is Zurich after all.

Thanks for your help!! You guys are so nice :) Merci beaucoup! C'était parfait, professionnel et courtois :)

The lockers were too small to fit our backpacks, so we had to live them in the room. The reception is not open 24h and you can't leave your bags there while waiting for the check in time. Moreover, sheets are not included (despite the high price you pay per night): welcome to Switzerland

It's really expensive for what you get. Internet only works in the reception area and there's only ten seats there. Lots of stairs. Tiny rooms. You have to pay for the sheets...

Great place to crash for few days. Everything is near and accessible from here.

10 stars for the cleaning lady

very friendly staff and central location

1 of the best hostel i ever stayed. very clean. comfy bed. staff were very kind and helpful. definitely will stay here again should i come to Zurich.

You HAVE to pay 3CHF/person for the sheets + 3CHF/person for the towel => this hostel is TOO EXPENSIVE? but this is Zurich..

Generally good location, but the spiral staircase is a huge challenge when I was carrying many luggages. On my last night, there was a room-mate above me who snored as loud as a PIG, and I asked him to stop/quieten his snore 2 times, he said sorry and ok, and then went to sleep with his loud snore again. Then another lady room-mate was fed-up with his snore too, and scolded him. In the end, I think he was fed-up too went outside to sleep, then I can sleep peacefully. Thank God.

While the hostel was nice, it was ridiculously priced. It was in the best part of the city (right downtown), but the cost per night was still crazy, and they like to charge for extras like linens and lockers.

So far so good
