Stayed in a 6-bed room which was rather cramped but for the price and location in expensive Zurich, it was considered a good deal. One other consideration was the noises from the pubs nearby which continued well past midnight.
Great location and roof top garden, the hostel facilities are old and a bit run down, steps are a problem with luggage. Nice staff, helpful and friendly, will store luggage in the office.
Pretty good location and relatively clean but not much charm after that. Very much a hotel atmosphere with the superficial features of a hostel. Also couldn't get my head around reception hours - more and more hostels in Europe have 24 hour reception, yet this one doesn't have staff past 10pm or even during lunch time. Overall, not that impressed.
Everything was great! Great location, clean facilities, fairly large room, good security.
It s all about location, downtown, walking diatance to the station. But there's a constant smell of food coming from the kitchen of the restaurant at the ground floor, bas smell on the corridors and inside the room, shaby blankets, tiny common area, small bathroom, too small for so many rooms on the floor, only one sink. Very clean bed sheets. Only go there as there are no other options. It's ok for a weekend away
You don't get what you expected from what you pay. Anyway there isn't many option in expensive Zurich, and it's not bad if it's only 1 night stay but if it's more than 2 days, I recommend to spend bit more money and stay in a hotel. City is small so you can walk around anywhere from hostel
Great hostel! was clean, kitchens were great. Had lockers in the rooms. Wifi cut out a bit the further you got from reception but wasn't too bad. Fabulous location in the middle of town. Quite reasonable for Switzerland prices
Awesome location- not far from the station or the sights. Beautiful rooftop over looking the old town. Beware you need to pay extra for sheets.
no lift in the building so you needa carry your stuff, walking up for a few floors.

Great location, showers, and beds. The staff I met were very nice. Kitchen ok but fridge is small. Only small lockers for valuables in room. If they took out the wardrobe (that everybody just dumped stuff in) there would be room for large lockers for luggage. Otherwise it's a crowded with everybody's luggage all over the place. Need a power bar in room, like they have in lobby so it's easier to charge stuff. Street outside is noisy on nice evenings, but you should have ear plugs when hosteling.
I thought this was good for my first experience staying in a hostel. Really happy that the location was where it was. I don't think I'm cut out for hosteling it hahahaha. Tonight I stay in a hotel in beautiful St. Moritz Switzerland and I'm very happy😊 This trip I will try other hostels along the way and also staying at hotels in between.

Nice place right in the centre of the old part of town. We got upgraded to a private room which was really nice as we were pretty exhausted that night. Beds were great, wifi worked well all around. Not a bad place for the price being right in the middle of it all.
Really nice hostel - clean room, good location, and hot showers!
Staff very helpful, go out of their way to help you. Nice central location with 5 min walk to station. Steps up are not a big deal- unless you are very unfit or have a physical disability. They do charge for bed linen. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The couch in the common room is comfy too (if there is a horrendous snorer in the room and earplugs aren't cutting it). Would highly recommend this place.
The staff is really friendly and helpful, the location is also great.
Brilliantly located clean & super friendly hostel. All of Zurich is expensive and this is no exception but in comparison to other hostels I found it is a good deal. Atmosphere depended on who was around, though they did have music playing in the background of the reception area which was nice. Barely any sockets to charge up devices, and seemed to charge really slow when you did eventually get to take your turn. Also, showers and toilet are per floor, not room which is a bit inconvenient.
There were no individual lights in the rooms. It felt slightly dirty especially the showers.
Perfect location, best price in Zurich As places go away fast, Harry up with your booking
Good hostel, however have in mind that the reception is closed almost all day so if you have a problem you wont have anyone to complain. The location is excellent.
I only stayed for one night and it was just okay. Going into the building I walked up many floors to find reception. The common room was really quiet all the time- people didn't want to interact with others. My bed was nice, I liked how there was a sink in the room. The bathroom was decently clean, but the shower was out of order. It was within walking distance to the major train station. I only met 1 staff member, she seemed nice, just tired. For a short stay I would go again.
