Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were really friendly and made me feel at home. Hostel has a great atmosphere and it's easy to meet people with a few drinks on the outside courtyard. The meatball experience is also highly recommended.
Very nice, clean and secure hostel. Would definitely stay again if I visit Stockholm again.
If there's rating system like hotels, City Backpackers is absolutely a 5-Stars hostel. Definitly recommend to everyone.

I'd strongly recommend for individual travellers wanting to meet people. Great party feel to the hostel. Excellent cooking facilities. Great court yard where it's easy to meet people. Alcohol is allowed. Close to city centre. Alcohol shop and supermarket nearby. 7/11 next door. Regular activities are organised.
The ensuite rooms in this hostel are excellent - one of the rooms I stayed in even had a TV! They are very spacious and clean. The downsides of my two night stay were: having to change rooms every day - this required lugging my heavy suitcase up and down stairs to the luggage room on both days whilst I waited for the room to be ready. Also, they charge for linen here. I find this strange, as what traveller carries around their own bed sheets? These should definitely be included in the price.
This place was amazing, the rooms were big and clean, the bathrooms were clean, the facilities were great especially the kitchen and the outdoor hang out area, it made the vibe am awesome one. The wifi was great. I only wish I knew it was walking distance from the central station as I paid 15 euro for a 2 minute cab (rip off).
One staff at the reception makes for a long wait at the front. Other than that, everything is clean and safe. It's a really great hostel.
This hostel is really social and a great place to meet new people. It's also a little bit quirky but in the best way possible. A great home away from home. Facilities are excellent. Lots of showers/toilets/washing machines/dryers. The kitchen is also super spacious and also offers free pasta that you can cook yourself. It's also in an awesome location. Would definitely stay here again.
My friend and I stayed at this Hostel for 3 nights. Pros: The Hostal is very clean, the AC works great, beds are comfortable, there are areas to relax and socialize (tv room, patio, kitchen). The rooms are in the basement of a building but no worries because it is very well mantained, they are big rooms and comfortable. The bathrooms are great. Cons: Other than awesome Sophie staff not very friendly. Bikes are old and new maintenance, not much social interaction encouraged, bkfast expensive.
Great hostel in a solid location. Stockholm is pricey so this is good value. Rooms were spacious, lots of common space, nice perks like free pasta and lots of computers to access. Great courtyard. Would stay again. I was not happy with the charge for linens...who travels with their own linens? And not happy about charging for breakfast (almost $10) for standard hostel breakfast.
Great stay. Really fun for true backpackers because there are a huge kitchen and chilling areas. The rooms are nice but nothing special. Very clean. Close to the bus station. Walking distance (relatively) to most attractions. I would recommend it for anyone .
Location was prime within 5 minutes from bus/train station. Staff very helpful and security is a priority for them with codes changing each day for the outside doors. Lockers extremely small for just a few things and cannot use just any lock. I had 2 different type of locks (large and smaller one) but still had to buy one cause they did not work. Breakfast was not bad for amount charged, but make sure to bring your own sheets. Overall, good value due to everything being expensive in Scandinavia.
nice hostel , worm atmosphere , bikes & longboards !!!
Friendly staff, clean place, not far away from the train station, free pasta and free washing machine (buy your own powder). Will stay here again if I come back to Stockholm.
One of the best hostel i have been. The kitchen is amazing and each room has its own fridge. The girl`s shower is not so good because if someone open the door and you are naked they can see you (at least on the ladies shower next to Grinda`s room). Apart from that the hostel is awesome!!! I would come back =)
There was a sauna in my room. Thats great!!!
I would suggest automatic water controllers for showers, and also some more communal showers.
Really nice, friendly hostel. Very easy to meet people here, especially with the courtyard seating area. The location is great and they have a good sized kitchen. I took the bike tour which was fantastic value for money.
