This is a PERFECT place to stay - cheap and convenient. Walking distance to all tourist places nearby( Famous night life-Clarke quay, MRT ,Chinatown,Bugis,Sentosa,Orchard etc). Hostel provides Free continental Breakfast, Wi-Fi, TV, Games, Dvd's to watch. Staff was quite helpful in every way. Place was very clean and and upto expectations. 24hrs security was all we needed and was accurate and impressive. All in all - Value of money. Good job CCB.

Location is near the shops and train station. The owner of the hostel has been accommodating to our queries. It was a good experience, we will definitely stay again in City Center Backpackers.

We stayed there for 6 nights and no one came in to clean our room once! We asked for clean towels and got yelled at! We used the aircon in the room and got yelled at by owner coz the walls will catch fire WTF,. They charge 20 to wash ur clothes and won't let u wash ur own even tho the washer is in the common area! U can't watch tv ever coz the owner and his friends are all sitting there talking and tell u what u have to watch. We were the only guests there the whole time! Bad hostel!!

This is a PERFECT place to stay. Very convenient, walking distance to Clarke Quay(MRT station), Chinatown, Bugis, Merlion and etc. For a very cheap hostel accommodation, you already have free breakfast which is bread, coffee, tea & spreads. 24/7 free wi-fi, free use of Computer, TV, DVD\'s & board games. The hostel staff were so nice as well. Good job CCB!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and any request had been dealt with promptly. The rooms were quite small and smelly, but it was value for money. We enjoyed that breakfast was included and our impression was that the staff made any effort to do everything to customer's satisfaction! So, alltogether, we were happy with our stay in the City Center Backpackers Hostel! Thank you very much!

No credit card payments accepted (true, the hostel site mentions that, but the deposit for the stay was secured with a credit card). Site mentions English breakfast is provided while in fact Continental breakfast was served. Staff speaks poor English making communication difficult. Rooms located high with steep stairs - travelers with large pieces of luggage beware!

A more adventurous breakfast other than bread and jam/jello needed. Rooms are VERY cramped!

Small hostel, very well located. Only 5 minutes to walk to Clark Quay. Very tiny rooms, some of them without windows. We changed the room after 1 night because the one without window was very muffling. computers with free internet and wirelass lan in the complete hostel, very good. Shower and toilet was ok, but not the cleanest. Staff: one nice guy and one unfriendly girl make the reception job. Luggage Room is very convenient for a late departure.

Location is the main reason to stay there. \"Deluxe Double\" rooms are definitely not \"deluxe\" but very basic: You have to climb the fourth floor (no elevator). Double Rooms are generally very small (such that e.g. in many rooms the door cannot be opened completely). Litter was under/behind the bed (removed after complain). Air condition was very loud. Now the positive: The staff was friendly and immediately tried to help us with our complains.

Great location, 5 mins to Clarke Quay MRT Station, Central Shopping Mall, Night Attraction. 15 Mins walk to Merlion. Easy to reach Sentosa Island, China Town, Little India and Marina Bay Sands by MRT just a few stations. Highly Recommend.

Room was tiny and smelly. Our luggages didn't fit into our room because it was so small. Location was good, staff was helpful.
