City Center Hostel Reviews

In short this is an average hostel in awesome location (literally the center of Kiev). Hostel occupies one floor of the building and it is separated into 3 parts. 2 showers (not in the best of shape), 2 toilets on some 55 beds. This is not really enough and the place is a bit crowded. Stuff is very good and helpful, however quite busy at times. There is no kitchen, but bars are very near. I would not recommend the single room: it is small and next to the elevator (noise), basically just a bed.

Great location, friendly staff, facilities and cleanliness not quite as good as in other former-Soviet countries I've been. Due to an error made by a member of staff, I was placed in the wrong room (one cheaper than I had paid for) and they wouldn't do anything to rectify the issue, or refund the difference.

Very good hostel, city center, nice staff, cheap , clean and warm. Free wi-fi, good working, coffee and tea all the day. Very nice stay. Thanks

The staff was so nice and belpfull..at all times of the day! We completely enjoyed our stay!

It's hard to recommend this place. The showers were really bad, the entire place is small and cramped. On the other hand the staff made a good effort to make sure I had what I needed. But my biggest problem was that it was very hard to contact the hostel itself, very little information is posted online and only by luck was I able to find the e-mail. Unfortunately they did an extremely poor job of responding to my e-mails in a timely manner. I would probably look for another place in Kiev.

All and all a good hostel but very small. The only thing that will bring me back to this hostel is the location. Location was perfect and was a central location for everything. Staff was very helpful but very busy because they are short of staff. No bar but very close to alot of good pubs!

I loved my stay in this hostel, but I also was able to speak Russian. The reception was nice and they showed me on the map where i should visit, they arranged a taxi for me in the morning at a cheap rate. AMAZING views and overall a great place to say. :)

Enjoyed my stay here. The location is top notch, right at the main square. Staff is very friendly and also helpful. Just one thing: 1 pers room is right next to the noisy lift shaft, so bring earplugs. Otherwise enjoyed my stay! :)

The hostel is right in the center! Big, beautiful decorated. They even have two cute birds)))) The staff is very welcoming and friendly. If you want live in comfortable hostel with pleasant atmosphere, you have to come to City center hostel.Thank you very much for your hospitality

Great location! Overlooking freedom square. No bar, but you're right in the city centre so you're never far away. Will happily stay again if I'm ever in Kiev.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff. They really help you about anything. Irene and Anastasia are very nice and good girls who work there .It has everything you need for a good stay in Kiev.

Very nice hostel to stay ! people are friendly and they have a very cool activities to integrate the people, location was very good also. I would definitively stay there one more time.
