Was in an excellent location, and the value for money cant be beat. The double room we stayed in was large and very nice. Just a little bit of customer service would go a LONG way.

First the good points : the room was nice and warm (in fact I had to turn the heating off sometimes), the hostel was quiet at night, it was good to have wi-fi and coffee. But despite what the website stated there was no tea. Things were a little awkward on arrival, as someone was in the room I had booked so had to be moved - the staff didn't seem to be expecting me despite my booking! Make sure if you leave your luggage for a late departure you leave extra time - I was locked out for 15 minutes.

There are many better places to stay a in Zagreb than this place.

It was ok. Not particularly clean, a bit grungy (and not really in the good way), the whole building looked like it was about to be demolished. But that said, it was warm and tolerable in its own way. The only real saving grace is the location, which is hard to beat. The place want particularly well run, and the owner wasnt very helpful...they didnt even have maps of the city, and didnt suggest things to do or places to eat (unless we asked). So, it was ok. Not great. I wouldnt go back.

Really excellent hostel. Great facilities, staff were friendly and helpful and the location is ideal. Clean, safe & secure and a warm atmosphere make for a superb base to explore Zagreb. Highly reccommended!

Second time I've stayed but won't be back. Booked a 6 bed dorm and was put into an 8 bed with no explanation or price reduction. Staff could care less about guests as made clear by their conversation regarding off-season plans.

Highly recommend! Simple and basic, but totally worth it for the location - in the middle of everything! 1 bathroom per floor, but I never had a problem. Toilet and shower are separate. Good free washer. Grocery store a 5 minute walk. Train and Bus station is walking distance. Staff was sweet and considerate. They cleaned everyday. I loved falling asleep to the sound of a live jazz band right outside our window. Nokturno Restaurant down the street is a must! It's cheap, TASTY and classy

i will start with the GOOD. fantastic location on the main shopping/partying/socialising/dining street of zagreb. staff speak decent english and will offer advice if asked and the rooms and bathrooms are quite clean. now with the BAD. i stayed here on TWO seperate occassions and caught BEDBUGSSSS BOTH TIMES!!! catching bedbugs is a horrible experience and i hate this hostel for making my life hell for 2 weeks on my trip!!! i have scars all over my body!! grrrrr DONT STAY HERE!

This place is FANTASTIC! As a backpacker, I can tell you that the location is the best, the atmosphere at this place is awesome, the kitchen is great, the owner and the people who work here are wonderful and super helpful. In addition, the bath-shower is used privately, which is a boon!! AND they have got amazing balconies overlooking the beautiful tree-lined Tkalciceva. It is wonderfully relaxing and restorative here, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Will be back soon!!

Great location, kitchen-nothing worked. Pretty much just a fridge.

I stayed there for a week and definitelly recomend it. It has probably the best location in Zagreb if you're into sight-seeing and/or clubbing. The crew are very social and helpfull. The building is quite old and some rooms could use a new floor-panel or some paint here and there. There's only a few lockers, so if the place is crowded there may be none available. It is sort of noisy, but what else would you expect from the heart of a city :)

Not very nice didnt really enjoy and there were no lockers on our floor. Wouldnt recommend as had no character either and rooms not great though big.

We where treated very excellent! we where offered a private room after booking a 8-room dorm when asking for it because I got sick. We did not have to pay more and where just so greatful! Thanks a lot and kind regards, Almuth Bennett

When we turned up, we were told our room had been infested with bedbugs and so we were put in an appartment upstairs! We were offered a discount and a free beer, but the appartment was strange. Although we were told nothing about it, we were clearly sleeping in someones living room and we woke to find an old woman wandering around! A little disconcerting. This is obviously a unique situation but it was all handled a bit strangely. Good location nevertheless.

this hostel is so fabulous for backpacking. it has an awesome little deck you can sit out on. its on the cutest little pub street. the location is fantastic. the staff are the greatest, super friendly and helpful. its clean and has enough bathrooms for everyone. it has two kitchens. the character is lovely, there are movies to watch and always people willing to go out for a drink. but it not too loud and we felt really safe here. AWESOME HOSTEL, STAY HERE :)

Only stayed one night. Hostel is right in the middle of the city and easy to find with the directions given. Rooms large and spacious.

The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful, and really made you feel at home. Perfect location. Perfect hostel.

it's good for a sleep...staff wasn't really friendly and the rooms were hot...i would find another place next time ;(

The best hostel I stayed at in my entire trip! Great staff who joined us down in the bar, great atmosphere and a beautifull city.
