The place was filthy and never cleaned. The shower drain was clogged with hair meaning you had to shower in a puddle that went up to your ankles. The bins were never emptied leaving the bathroom and dorm smelling horrible. Kitchen was always dirty with even staff leaving dirty dishes on the bench. The staff made you feel uncomfortable for using our own common room by inviting their friends over and taking up the whole room. I found myself often hiding in the kitchen or dorm to avoid them

We are working very hard to improve our hostel and we take complaints very seriously. We recently introduced a new feedback system where guests can report any issues good or bad so we can make things right. This guest did not report any issues during her stay and we feel the review is very unfair. We have just finished our regular deep cleaning at the hostel and replaced some beds. We were recently visited by some top budget travel agents who we think our hostel is clean, fun and great value

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, would recommend to my friends.

Great hostel for the price we paid during our stay, were upgraded to a nicer room as well without any additional cost. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was ideal for getting into and out of town.

Came late but staff (Alan and Elliot) were really understanding and helpful. Top shelf lads. They were a bit overbooked so they actually upgraded me to my own private room. No extra charge! Would stay there again

Great hostel- close enough to walk to the city centre but not so that it's too loud, nice facilities too (kitchen/bathroom), though we didn't use all of them- best part was probably the staff, especially Alan- went out of his way to make our stay as comfy and easy as possible, as well as recommending good places to go. Didn't spend as much time talking to Elliot but he too seemed nice and approachble when helping us checkout- overall would definitely recommend.
