This place was lovely. Excelleny value for money. Amzing location, only a walk into the centre. And a lovely restaurant d tuk tuk 1 minute down the roadroad. The staff were really helpful and friendly. No hastle with checking in or out or anything at all. And we got upgraded to a better room on arrival. All in all I'd highly recommend staying herehere if you want value for moneymoney and a cosy place close to the centre!

The hostel was good and clean. Coffee and tea was peovided, that was perfect as the boiler was broken and we were freezing inn our room. Sadly there was no one to check us out, so i left the key on the reception desk in good hope that they wont lose it. Average hostel, good if you dont want to pay much.

I slept in the common room at Lighthouse. Thanks a lot

The room was basic but had everything we needed. The hostel had a good kitchen we could use, and the lack of curfew was definitely a bonus during festival time! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and overall our stay was great. The only downside - if you're a light sleeper, try to avoid room 8 (right by the stairs on the ground floor)! Great value for money, though, and an excellent location in Tollcross/Bruntsfield.

This hostel is far more expensive than it offers (50,00 EUR per night in a dorm). First of all, we booked 4 beds in a female 4 beds dorm, but we got 4 beds in a female 6 beds dorm. It wasn't what we payed for. Kitchen was horribly dirty and we even saw a cat sniffing around the counters. They don't except credit cards. I must say that staff was very nice and helpful. This hostel is overall ok but not for this price (100 GBP per person for 3 nights in a dorm).
