Spend a night under the shadow of Edinburgh Castle at City Centre Hostel. Enjoy our new hostel concept of Clean, functional private rooms, in fantastic city centre locations, designed to accommodate the modern 21st century traveller.
Standard facilities at City Centre Hostel include:
-Fresh bed linen,
-Free Towels,
-Fully fitted self-catering kitchen
-Laundry facilities
-24 hour access.
Each of our adjoining apartments has 2 lockable bedrooms and a shared lounge, bathroom and kitchen area. The apartments can be booked exclusively for your group or shared. We also have a funky reception area where you can book tours or get advice on where to go in Edinburgh and what to do.
City Centre Hostel can accommodate individuals or groups. Each of our adjoining Hostel apartments which can be rented individually or as a group has either 2 Triple sized Bedrooms (which can also be booked as Twin or Double Rooms) or 2 x 4 Bed Rooms.
Groups of 4+ have the option of booking both rooms and having exclusive use of the apartment.

We accept payment by cash only on arrival.
To avoid any problems and delays at check in you must contact us in advance to confirm your arrival time so we can arrange for someone to let you into your room.

Overall, we loved the apartment. It was terrific to have so many amenities, and the location couldn't be beat! Alan at reception was super-friendly, helpful, and definitely our kind of person. My only suggestions would be that they consider switching up some of the beds - the bunk bed/futon was pretty rough - and get the internet sorted out. We didn't have access in our apartment, so we had to come down to reception during business hours to use theirs. Stellar overall, though - highly recommend!

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
The hostel has a reception area open from 9am - 5pm at 13 West Port, Grassmarket, Edinburgh.
The rooms are located beside the reception. To avoid any problems and delays at check in you must contact us in advance to confirm your arrival time so we can arrange for someone to let you into your room.
Please note that we are only able to accept check ins after 5pm by prior arrangement.
