The City Centre Hostel sitting a flight of stairs away from street cafes and bars. Upon my arrival in the early morning some staff made me some coffee and we sat with other guests for a morning chat. A staff member even took to the streets to help us find a hidden comedy club. With two kitchens available, on my last night some guests and staff joined to make a lovely meal. great location very near to centre - 2mins walk. the hostel is situated with lots cafes outside, restaurants. I had a single room - which I prefered to sharing in a dorm. But, that a personal thing as to whether you want a good night sleep and privacy and good to keep valuables locked away. There are lots stairs to get to the hostel...ring bell and ask for help, if you have a heavy suitcase. Value for money - you can't complain. Great hostel. The location (in the middle of the city and 10 minutes from the train station) is perfect. Super clean place with a great kitchen and incredible staff that go above and beyond. guests. I met great people and had an awesome stay in Zagreb. You should take the two hour bus ride to the Plitvice Lakes National Park from Zagreb, it is amazing!guests. There wasn't a member of staff there all the time so we ended up having to open the door to new guests in the morning...not cool. Was really easy to find though and in a great location. Security wasn't very good either, we ended up with some extra people coming in in the middle of the night. Cant complain about the location, 10 min walk from the train station. Hostel is actually on the street thats got all the bars and places to eat. Great. One thing.... we got there at 4am coz thats what time the train from Venice gets there of which there is one a day. Staff arent there till 9am and leave at 10pm, so with nowhere else to go, we froze outside till someone came. Not nice. Why not just have a 24hr reception at hostels? The people in this hostel are so nice and itīs really well-locared.
Itīs not simple to sleep there (people forget the key and the reception is not 24 hrs so we have to wake up to open the door...). In the morning, as the wall is very thin you can listen everything!!!The people in this hostel are so nice and itīs really well-locared.
