It's a good place to stay with a great location. Our double-bed-room was spacious. Toilet, bathroom and kitchen were really cold (in March), which was unpleasant. No towels!!

We stayed in the hostel for two nights, two really cold nights. There was no heating in the rooms, just one movable radiator for every room. The problem is that it took us several hours to get the room warm and we had to let it run all night and all day, even when we have been outside. Normally, you are not allowed to let them run unattended, but we did not want to freeze. The room cooled down very fast. The reason for this was that it was -6°C outside and, in addition, the kitchen, the hall, the bathroom

Dear Guest, I have to admit you arrived on a bad day, The previous guest had broke the heater in your room, and the weather changed drastically the day arrived, the temp dropped by 20C. And we were not ready for that. Regarding the bathroom, you got that wrong, the south African guest broke a water pipe that evening when the electrician was fixing your heater . Sorry about your experience, But it was just one of those days where everything went wrong and we were unprepared

Was in an excellent location, and the value for money cant be beat. The double room we stayed in was large and very nice. Just a little bit of customer service would go a LONG way.

Sorry about the lack of customer service, but we are off season and only receive a few guest a week in winter. So unfortunately we cant be there all the time, we try to make sure that all customers get all the info they need when they arrive. But staff are in an out throughout the day.

First the good points : the room was nice and warm (in fact I had to turn the heating off sometimes), the hostel was quiet at night, it was good to have wi-fi and coffee. But despite what the website stated there was no tea. Things were a little awkward on arrival, as someone was in the room I had booked so had to be moved - the staff didn't seem to be expecting me despite my booking! Make sure if you leave your luggage for a late departure you leave extra time - I was locked out for 15 minutes.

Dear Guest, thank you for your comment. You arrived on new years day and we all had been partying the night before till the early morning. So this is the reason for the in organised state that you found us in. Also all the shops were closed on the day so we couldn't buy tea on that day, sorry about that and for our disorganisation on your arrival.

A very good place in the center of Zagreb. Huge rooms, perfect location in the historical center of the city, helpful staff and low prices, what else? We absolutely enjoyed this hostel and recommend it.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment. I agree there are many better places to stay in Zagreb. But for 30 euros a night, and in the centre of the city, you will not find better place. I wish you left some constructive criticism so we could improve what you did not like. Sorry that you did not enjoy your stay.
