Good value for your money. Rooms are outdated but clean. Brand new flatscreen T.V's. Beds are decent. Friendly and helpful staff. No common area except a few tables outside. Nice location within walking distance from the OLD bus station and city center/ clocktower. Was given a private room with one bed switched to a different room (302) with two single beds and it was double the size and made for a much nicer stay.

I got bed bug bites. Sucks. Employee Oody is helpful and friendly, but I wouldn't stay there again. It's very close to night bazaar.

A good place to crash quietly for a few nights. Peaceful with a good location extremely close to the night market, bus station, bars, and tourist mainstays like western food and massages.

City Home has a great location right next to the bus station and the Night Bazaar. However, we were really disappointed in the room. The blankets and curtains looked old and worn, and all the furniture was scratched, chipped, and falling apart. The room had a really musky smell to it. We did have a nice little balcony and TV, and the wifi worked fine for us. While it was kind of nice to have the night bazaar close, they do have live music until close to midnight, which was right outside our roo

Nice hostel, clean, and really close to the bus station, they help you out to plan activities in chiang rai.

Rooms okay, very good location near the night market and local bus station. Staff's English was very poor, they could not give any helpful advice for sightseeing and had no city maps available. No breakfast included, no room service! Okay, if you need a place to sleep for one or two nights.

Was ok, nothing special except the location. Next to bus station and night market.

What CityHome lacks in atmosphere (pretty quiet around the "house") it makes up for in convenience, cleanliness, etc. Right next to the old bus terminal, night market, restaurants and other spots a traveler might need. Staff is helpful and friendly and English-speaking. It's clean and there is plenty of space. There isn't much of a social atmosphere (much more hotel-like and less hostel-like) but Chiang Rai in general lacks the Bohemian vibe of, say, Chiang Mai. I would stay again and recommend.

Staff was very helpful. Location is good downtown. Value for money is okay. Hygiene is a little poor, Wifi is okay but not great!

Beds are comfy, location is great right next to the bus station and night market, shared bathroom was clean. Can get a bit noisy at night though (more due to the staff watching TV than because of the night market!)

Good place. Very large, clean rooms. Good location close to bus terminal, which was nice if you want to take the local bus to places like the White Temple. Very close to night market and many restaurants as well.

I have stayed twice here so far and might be staying in the future if going through northern part of Thailand. I liked everything.

Thanks to the staff of City Home Guest House. We accidentally cancelled our booking of one room but the staff let us stayed in a superior room with the same money we paid for the standard room. Thank you so much. Excellent location for food and shopping. Night market is just round the corner. I will strongly recommend this guest house to friend.

Amazing location! Right next to the night bazaar and it's only a couple minutes walk to the old bus station (terminal #1). The rooms we're clean and had quite a lot of space. The only thing was the room we happened to have the door to the balcony didn't lock and the balcony attached to the hallway so anyone could get in by just hoping over the railing. Regardless I still felt safe because they kept a close watch on who was coming in and out. I would stay there again.
