Great location and great value for your money. If you're on a budget and need to be close to the bus terminal, this is the hostel for you!
Perfect location- right next to the bust station and market, restaurants and convenience shops. Lots of sights to see, short walk to the trial museum which is fascinating! Nice dorm room, good sized lockers. The staff are all super nice. Thanks for everything!
We stayed in the twin room with AC. The bathroom was clean and spacious as was the room. The door was secure with a lock and a chain so it felt safe at night. We had our own balcony, tv and mini fridge which was handy for storing our water. The reception staff couldn't understand much English but after some gestures we were able to communicate with them. It was very quiet and didn't see many other guests! Overall, I would recommend this as a place to stay in Chiang Rai.

Central to the Night bazar. However rooms are very hot und there are Not so much Travellerscheck. Its a boring atmosphere
Location to night markets & terrific atmosphere at night was great.Bar fridge would of been bonus for fruit & drinks as very hot.Staff asked if we'd like room cleaned,on return was not. Hot water system didn't operate effectively but over looked as was hot weather. Staff polite but not over enthusiastic.
Just a few minutes walk from old busstation. Close by night market. 5-10 minutes walk to saterday market. You can take a bus to white temple from bus station. It's only 20 baht for 20 minutes. There is no hot water and is very basic. There is a locker in the room.
This was a nice place, convenient to everything. The city bus station is literally right around the corner. Basic accommodation in the dorms, good atmosphere. There were tons of mosquitos in the showers and the shower on the right (there were two for the dorm) didn't seem to have hot water. The older front desk man didn't speak English but after some miming and gestures, we were able to communicate and he was very helpful and friendly. Overall I liked the place and would stay there again.
The best part of this place is the location- right in the center of town, near night market and the bus station. Unfortunately, the bathroom was filled with mosquitoes. There isn't really a social space to talk to others, but the open layout in the dorms helped with that a bit. When booking the dorm, make sure to note there's no AC...
