Very basic but the price can't be beat! the 6-bed dorm was ugly and very outdated, but comfortable and clean. Staff weren't very friendly, and the older man who checked me in didnt speak English which was a bit challenging. Wifi was average. Toilets/showers clean. Overall, for the price, it was good.

The staff was sweet and helpful. The facilities are a work in progress. When we arrived the hallways were being painted- the walls were still quite wet and there was cardboard over the stairs, a ladder, paint brushes and cans. My friend got paint on her bags The room was HUGE and had a ton of storage (looks like a converted studio apartment) but the bathroom window had holes in the screen we had to patch to keep the mosquitoes out. Good, central location. Luke warm showers. Overall not bad.

The best location, minutes walk from Night Market. Check out Hangover Bar (five minutes away) for the best conversations with locals and best music. They made us feel at home! The beds were large and comfortable (staying in mixed dorm) with free lockers and comfortable pillows. Hot showers and nice restrooms! Overall, extremely worth the price. Happy travels!

A good simple and very clean guest house in a fantastic town! Our room was very large and comfortable. The night market is right next to the guest house but the bands stop playing by 11pm and it was very quiet after that. As paranoid westerners leaving valuables in the room we do recommend you emphasize to the front desk if you want NO ONE to clean or enter your room. We put our "do not disturb" sign out but they cleaned anyway. We never felt our stuff was in danger but were still annoyed.

The hostel is near to the night bazaar and bus station I wish there were clothing hooks in the shower rooms.

I wanted to take a shower after taking a shower. Can't beat the price tag, but glad I only booked the place for a night. Spend the extra 50 baht and get yourself a bed someplace a little more legit.

It's not an interesting city, so it is not an interesting hostel. Beds very comfortable, great location, not a lot is going on there though.

This guest house was ok, basic, close to the bus terminal 1. Showers were not really ok because there was no thing to put your stuff on. Just a little wall but you need to be careful if you don't want your clothes to fall on the wet floor. The wifi didn't work. The good point was the free drinkable water.

Right in the centre of Chiang Rai, practically next to the night bazaar, the bus station, and everything you could need, really. The bus station is perfect for visiting the slightly further out attractions. The staff were massively friendly and helpful, and spoke great english. The beds were comfy, and large lockers were provided in the dorm, as well as pillows & bedding. The shared toilet/shower was a bit damp but it did the job! This place is too convenient to not stay if in Chiang Rai.

big comfy beds, great location, I had the dorm to myself so atmosphere was quiet, no where to really hangout but great hostel, decent bathroom. Just an average decent hostel with friendly staff who are willing to help
