City Hostel Bratislava Reviews

This is not a hostel. It's a cheap motel. The staff lack the characteristics expected in the hospitality and tourism industry, but they did help and point me in the right direction when I asked for assistance. One problem I have with this establishment is the security gate at the front entrance. They lock it up at night, which is fine, however, there were two occasions where I had to wait on an inattentive receptionist to allow me to exit and enter.

During the weekends a lot of youngs are outside the hostel , to party and yelling. We woke up during the night, when some of them enter to "sleep" in the hostel. the beds are awful, it's better to sleep in a rock. Not recommended at all

This hostel made for a pretty bad experience. I don't know how they can advertise that they offer things they outright do not have, like Internet. No Internet was available in any form (although advertised) and when asking if there was we were waved away. We weren't given any maps or information (like advertised) and when we asked for directions we were sent in the wrong direction. Most reception staff were nice, however one older lady with blonde hair was downright mean and rude. Don't go there

I stayed there for one night and I got the last minute booking at a very reasonable price which I think was value for money. I think it's a very good place for short as well as longer backpacking or normal stays.

This was the cleanest hostel I've ever been in.

quite nice, I was missing free WI-FI connection and a little kitchen. Excellent location - good relation LOCATION - PRICE :)
