City Hostel Bratislava Reviews

More like a hotel than a hostel. Good location and nice clean rooms but unfortunately no possibility to make breakfast. A bit challenging to find with the given instructions...

No internet, no breakfast. Make no mistake. But at least it had a comfortable bed. NOT. Only thing good about this place was the location, about 10 minutes walk to the old city. Would not stay here again. Not even that clean. Save yourself some pain (mostly back and neck) and go somewhere else.

Probably the best location in the city. A calm, clean hostel with everything you need, especially for couples. Centre within a stone\'s throw and I also recommend Burgerland at 20 m right from the hostel :)

Everything was nice and good, but there was no hot water in the afternoon (let alone the night).

What a find! If you want to stay in the middle of Bratislava, there is no need to look anywhere else. You just can not find more central or more convenient location - shops, coffee, food, sites - all are just a short walk from here. I used to live in Bratislava as a student, I know. The tram stop (not that you will need one) is in front of the hostel, providing convenient connection to the airport. For those who complain about everything - yes it is basic, but it's a cheap hostel, you muppets.

Everything was in very good condition and very clean. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Good location, but staff were indifferent to the point of rudeness... Not even a smile for the 2 nights we stayed there. We had ordered a 'double' room, and we got 2 singles, which we were told to just push together. Otherwise good value. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's fine. I do, however, recommend you go instead to Vienna. A much nicer city... but more expensive. If you're sticking to Bratislava, it's definitely worth going to the Slovak Pub, just down the road.
